Can you imagine being an Ant in a Micro-World?<p><i>Please Note: This is an old blog post that I relocated here from a website of mine that I recently deleted. The original date of this post is September 10th, 2012.</i></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhkL9ocapIHt6htDHh83_lGX6-Wy2yUllsqo8LSrb5GPPZNr_qt2o6TrKCZGNvRHNGQP3nuYvIxjUsp1BAwtfq2jAIoVTxjp5eJ47HYL3JoV-dQJ9MVY8PkKQ3VQHwYtzayaaBr0xSR_YefiHhTjBLHuZ7gZbBJzYaB1cCfHm4ziMhYaTZGzeOaFwMAhQ=s1920" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1920" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhkL9ocapIHt6htDHh83_lGX6-Wy2yUllsqo8LSrb5GPPZNr_qt2o6TrKCZGNvRHNGQP3nuYvIxjUsp1BAwtfq2jAIoVTxjp5eJ47HYL3JoV-dQJ9MVY8PkKQ3VQHwYtzayaaBr0xSR_YefiHhTjBLHuZ7gZbBJzYaB1cCfHm4ziMhYaTZGzeOaFwMAhQ=s320" width="320" /></a></div><div>I suppose that I could expound upon this subject in great detail, be overly elaborate and anything but terse, but since we are all little ants stuck in this micro-world of an infinite pattern, I feel that the readers should help fill in the blanks (in due time) within the comment field.</div><div><br /></div><div>On the other hand, I will briefly provide a little teasing verbiage and a couple cool videos, to get the ball rolling……</div><div><br /></div><div>There are plenty of size/proportion concepts out there, and just by using our solar system alone, we start to feel small. It never stops there, as if we go up, into a larger scale like our galaxy, things seem to dwarf us even more. Oh, forget about the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/03/black-holes-spiral-galaxies.html">galaxies</a>, as they are tiny, so let's move into the great wide open and call it the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-universe-might-not-make-sense.html">universe</a>. Yikes! Can I go back? Sure, you can! Okay, let's go back to Earth…</div><div><br /></div><div>Before I start talking about being an Ant living in a Micro-World, I must ask: Have you ever heard of fractals?</div><div><br /></div><div>Most people relate such things to mathematics, as a fractal is a mathematical set that has a fractal dimension that usually exceeds its topological dimension and may fall between the integers. Fractals are typically “the same from near as from far,” and they may be exactly the same at every scale and/or different scales. The definition of fractal goes beyond such petty affairs and into a detailed pattern that constantly repeats itself.</div><div>All of this mumbo jumbo reminds me of when I used to say, while proclaiming a theory of unity, that everything is split among the <a href="https://anti-dolt.blogspot.com/2010/02/why-does-some-people-always-refer-to.html" target="_blank">endless dividends of one</a>. This is one of those subjects that you can analyze downward as much as you can upward, if that makes any sense…</div><div><br /></div><div>I’m going to pick out a couple random (quick) videos about fractals, albeit you must watch them before commenting on this post. I would like for you, for the ones who haven’t thought much about this subject, to get an elementary idea of what I mean by proportion. First up, will be a rather basic video, called “<b>Understanding Fractals</b>,” and you can find it below:</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/yAjRerTmhwM" width="320" youtube-src-id="yAjRerTmhwM"></iframe></div><br /><div><b>Fractal Art?</b> Oh, why should I go there? It is awesome, to say the least… This post is mainly about proportion and an ongoing pattern, so I’ll skip through the art aspects (although I’m currently a dormant artist) and provide a fairly nifty video of fractals, below:</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/BTiZD7p_oTc" width="320" youtube-src-id="BTiZD7p_oTc"></iframe></div><br /><div><b>Why am I talking about being an Ant in a micro-world?</b></div><div>Hell, your guess is as good as mine, but I thought that the ant would best represent an organized insect, one who often fights and engages in wars like us humanoids, all while being oblivious to the higher scales of life.</div><div>Can you imagine being shrunk down to the size of an ant, and viewing this very same planet through that perspective? What we deem as a “micro-world” is just as much a “<a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/movies-related-to-hollow-earth-theory.html">world</a>” as any other. People who often chant foolish rhetoric while talking about the galaxies and the universe, often forget about their very own piece of the pie, which is right here on Earth. It is all the same, really, just different levels. We may never find the funnels that truly create during this lifetime, but we can only hope to eventually find the divine pattern. From microscopic organisms to the gargantuan Dinosaurs of the past, from tiny planets to large suns, from galaxies to the universe and above, what does all this mean? Is it really important to understand the universal proportion or should we simply ignore it and concentrate on our individual portion?</div><div><br /></div><div>We are like ants, when you think about it, if you back up a few thousand feet. Does it mean that we are insignificant? Of course not, because we are rather unique. Well, I shouldn’t get all poetic, or else I’ll ruin the train of thought. Anyway…</div><div><br /></div><div>This post reminds me of a couple movies that demonstrate what proportions really mean. One, was a family movie called “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.” The other flick that quickly comes to mind, was an old science fiction film called “Fantastic Voyage,” which they later remade into a more modern movie entitled “Innerspace.”</div><div><br /></div><div>At any less than insane rate, what is your thoughts about fractals, human proportion with the cosmos, and anything else that relates to being an ant stuck in a micro-world?</div><div><br /></div><div>---Side Note: You may want to further your reading by searching online for Fractal <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/02/4th-5th-dimensions-time-travel-parallel.html">Dimensions</a>, which is a ratio providing a statistical index of complexity comparing how detail in a pattern (fractal pattern) changes with the scale at which it is measured. It has also been characterized as a measure of the space-filling capacity of a pattern that tells how a fractal scales differently than the space it is embedded in; a fractal dimension does not have to be an integer.</div><div><br /></div><div>In addition to that, especially if you enjoy digital/computer art, you may also want to search online for Fractal Art. You’ll most likely find some pretty wicked images, to say the least…</div><div><br /></div><div>Image Credit: perpendicularity.org/blog/ [link is no longer active]</div><div><br /></div><div>—End of Post "Fractals anyone? The first half will be about how “<b>Imagination has a Reason for Existing</b>” and the second part will be about “<b>The Power of Thought & Projections</b>.” </div><div><br /></div><div>Even if you’re one of the lame folks that rarely use it, imagination is there and has a mysterious purpose for existing, but there’s a reason, nonetheless.</div><div><br /></div><div>Many folks, especially the so-called “overly educated” ones, often forget the powers and reasons for imagination.</div><div>By the way, we are not talking rocks, nor can any scientific formula unravel the mysteries of life, albeit there will always be people who think they have “figured it all out.” Ha-ha!</div><div><br /></div><div>Most semi-normal human beings have the ability to ponder, wonder, think deeply and contemplate complex queries along with dreaming up fantasies, fantastical notions, and imaginative, creative ideas, etc.</div><div><br /></div><div>Notice that I say most (I would like to say ALL) humans “have the ability,” as I excluded the facts and percentages of lame brains, brainwashed folks, and people full of inane thought processes, but I have my reasons for saying such things.</div><div><br /></div><div>Most of us have heard some of the old quotes that spoke about how imagination is more important than knowledge, and how imagination is your preview of life’s coming attractions, and so on.</div><div><br /></div><div>Well anyway, I was just searching online, to see what type of creative jargon ranked well under this topic, and I ran across an interesting page entitled “The Powers of Imagination.” Many of the mystics and hopeful romantics out there, will love stuff like this (Ha!). But seriously, here is a quick excerpt from that page, below:</div><div><br /></div><div>“Within the Astral worlds, often known as “the beyond” or “the afterlife” where people transition after the process erroneously known as “death,” there are vast areas of Energy comprising just about every type of environment; all consensus creations of numerous people from the past, present and future relative to temporal concept of Earth “time.” These creations are the result of vast collective, consensual Energy configurations that are continually being influenced by Mind, and which Energy therefore endures under that consensual Mind influence almost forevermore.”</div><div><br /></div><div>You can read more, here: http://www.ourultimatereality.com/powers-of-imagination.html</div><div><br /></div><div>The purpose for this post, is to hopefully rattle the cages of closed minds and to weaken the strongholds of those copy & paste, facts only, Wikipedia quoting fanatics. It is like some people can’t think for their self anymore. Yeah, I like to use facts and figures when researching at times, but I leave room for my intuition and imagination to fill in the blanks or to create new ideas and possibilities, during the process.</div><div><br /></div><div>Have you ever wondered why Science Fiction often becomes a reality, over time?</div><div>Have you ever thought about how the power of creation may stem from thoughts, alone?</div><div>Anti-creationists really get angry or quarrelsome when you mention something that goes against their eternal matter that magically formed from a tiny point of singularity that went bang without a banger involved, but in a divine sense, can you imagine the power of thoughts and imagination as a whole?</div><div>No wonder creation never stops throughout the cosmos.</div><div><br /></div><div>On an indirectly related note… Most of us have all heard of the perplexing question: Which came first, the chicken or the egg?</div><div>I’ve heard all types of answers for this question, ranging from not only the ‘chicken’ or the ‘egg’ or ‘why in the hell are you asking me?’ for the answers, but unusual answers like the “unchicken before it became a chicken to lay the egg” along with other asinine crap that I’m not going to bother even typing.</div><div><br /></div><div>This is an age-old question… Aristotle (384–322 BC) was puzzled by the idea that there could be a first bird or egg and concluded that both the bird and egg must have always existed. He said: “If there has been a first man he must have been born without father or mother – which is repugnant to nature. For there could not have been a first egg to give a beginning to birds, or there should have been a first bird which gave a beginning to eggs; for a bird comes from an egg.”</div><div><br /></div><div>Creationists would say that the Chicken came first, and most <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/02/theory-of-evolution-where-is-missing.html">evolutionists</a> would probably say that the egg came first via a mutation from some other non-chicken bird that eventually became a chicken. Say whaaa?</div><div><br /></div><div>Then, there is the ‘neither’ answer.</div><div>Here is a quick copy & paste quote (excuse me) from Wikipedia: “In Buddhism, Hinduism, as well as other Dharmic religions, there is the belief of the wheel of time which regards time as cyclical and with repeating ages, as some other cultures such as Mesoamerican (Aztecs, Mayan) and some native American Indians believe. Their idea of time gives a different answer to the question of “who is first.” The concept of eternal return, which is well known in the Western culture through the writings of Nietzsche indicates that there is repetition of time. The assumption is that time is eternally repetitive, and therefore, there is no “first” in eternity; there is no creation. The answer then becomes neither the egg nor the chicken is first. There is no “first” in a cyclical view of time.”</div><div><br /></div><div>So, let's just combine all of the answers and say that the power of divine imagination created both at the same time, no?</div><div><br /></div><div>Humans have limited power, but we do have the ability to create from the material that we have. Have you ever wondered how much we create subconsciously and through our conscious thoughts on a regular basis, that we are not even aware about? Like I mentioned before, imagination has a reason for existing, so can you imagine the power of such, on a grand scale?</div><div>Anyway, this subject could go on forever, but I just wanted to jot down a few notes to help spark some fresh ideas about what role people think that <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/01/quantum-jumping-vs-deep-meditation.html">imagination</a> plays in our ongoing existence within this seemingly never-ending cosmos that is <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/02/4th-5th-dimensions-time-travel-parallel.html">paralleled with the never-never land of thoughts via the 5th dimension</a>. <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2010/11/what-about-this-god-thing.html" target="_blank">Is God from another dimension?</a></div><div>At any rate, feel free to enlighten me with whatever ideas or insults you possess towards this subject; cheers!</div><div><br /></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiSeB3QTYkoPI5fTbn1EHzl42DIA8cFi53RlKqnWA3k7hrK3LeBcJ7OSXPq6JtAEpIAS_joYCDsAacSAbf2MZl34hhjuS7duUeilyATXjK6_8ngIfDH6tVIxURIcqM78Poml0oMrnw7XJSNoUJWQQ4yza7-eAz7G-SwfF8bit6TePN-gaPgdce5L0dF4A=s313" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="293" data-original-width="313" height="293" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiSeB3QTYkoPI5fTbn1EHzl42DIA8cFi53RlKqnWA3k7hrK3LeBcJ7OSXPq6JtAEpIAS_joYCDsAacSAbf2MZl34hhjuS7duUeilyATXjK6_8ngIfDH6tVIxURIcqM78Poml0oMrnw7XJSNoUJWQQ4yza7-eAz7G-SwfF8bit6TePN-gaPgdce5L0dF4A" width="313" /></a></div>The entire basis for our existence along with our obvious levels of consciousness is powered by collective thoughts, but I’m not getting into a long, drawn-out debate about the <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2010/02/creation-myths-ancient-greek.html" target="_blank">theories of creation</a> – nor am I going to expound upon the properties of spiritual significance. However, I will briefly chatter about the power of thought and also what is known as “thought projections.”</div><div><br /></div><div>It is amazing, at times, what I consider to be normal, ordinary and commonplace, are actually concepts, ideas and beliefs (albeit actualities) of what many folks consider to be outlandish, insane and just downright mad. Oh, but how many times have I said that the mind is a universe in itself?</div><div><br /></div><div>Even as a kid, thought projections and the much similar concepts of telepathy was like, uh, duh! Later on, while still being a kid, I heard via science fiction stories and movies that aliens used telepathy to communicate, but hell, we are just as much aliens as they are, technically, although the levels of existence varies from vessel to vessel, if ya get my drift.</div><div><br /></div><div>Anyway, I think that most human beings, even on this current K-3 planet, experience and are semi-aware about the power of thoughts. By the way, K-3 stands for Kindergarten through 3rd grade, as I think the High School on this planet left a long time ago. So when you hear me speak about being a 4th grader stuck on a K-3 planet, feel free to ignore me and concentrate more on the subject at hand; ha!</div><div><br /></div><div>How many of y’all have really tried to send a message to somebody, animal or human, (doesn’t matter who) and feel that strong sense of the reciprocation of thoughts without words? How many times have you predicted the very words that have yet to be spoken? How many people find more truth in their feelings as opposed to what they actually think?</div><div><br /></div><div>Telepathy is a direct means of communication, and is on a much higher level of existence than common thought projections are, but it all starts from somewhere, right?</div><div>A critic can simply claim that when you are around certain folks long enough, you pick up a pattern of words and thoughts, but that simply doesn’t explain the obvious invisible means of conveying messages with people you rarely even see or know!</div><div><br /></div><div>It happens to me all the time, and I can’t count how many times a person has said to me, “how did you know that … I was just about to say that … You already knew what I was thinking,” blah, blah. I usually just say “Oh, uh, yeah,” and change the subject as it is nothing weird for me. I don’t know how many times, for yet another example, I can bring food over that I cooked for somebody, and they say something like, “that is so strange, I haven’t thought about that in months but for some reason, yesterday, that kept popping into my mind (whatever type of meal it was), etc.</div><div><br /></div><div>To make it short, I stumbled across a short web page the other day that was talking about thought projections like it was some new discovery or something. I didn’t comment on it, but I could hardly keep from laughing at the content that was glowing from my computer monitor.</div><div><br /></div><div>This is so old that, although I can’t technically prove it, since the dawn of existence, the power of thoughts is what runs the entire thing. Just think, no wonder scientists have such a hard time understanding the expanding universe, consciousness, <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/imaginary-numbers-in-quantum-mechanics.html">quantum mechanics</a>, <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-universe-might-not-make-sense.html">dark matter, dark energy</a>, the true nature of gravity, and so on.</div><div><br /></div><div>I’ve always thought that most of the “force” behind things is invisible to our “human” eye. Hey, go draw me a picture of the invisible line of gravity between two objects, for example? Draw me a picture of that strong sense you get when somebody is STARING at you with a thousand-yard stare, only to turn around and see that very same thing, but, uh, you sensed it first!</div><div><br /></div><div>…I could list so many examples, sort of like how a dog always knows when a person is scared.</div><div>Sort of like there have been cats that could sense when a person is about to die in a nursing home. And on and on we go…</div><div><br /></div><div>I’m still dumbfounded by the fact that most people, as a whole, don’t realize the power of thoughts and how strong and/or what type of effect thought projections can have on this world.</div><div>In fact, I wish people would quit thinking about doom & gloom all the time, as if we keep dreaming this stuff up, it will eventually happen.</div><div>Then again, this is a K-3 planet, so what do I care? Ha!</div><div><br /></div><div>Well, I was going to research about thought projections and paste some data into this post, but I have verbally rambled enough already, so, so much for that!</div><div><br /></div><div>At any rate, feel free to provide comments that relate to this subject below, as I would be interested in hearing what others think about thought projections and/or the power of thought; cheers!</div><div><br /></div><div>Image Credits: perpendicularity.org/blog/ [link is no longer active]</div><div><br /></div><div>---End of Post "The Power of Thought, Projections, Imagination..."</div>Obscurely Diversehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00093125094173965474noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8104720100782472242.post-24012989816975587942022-03-12T19:05:00.001-08:002022-03-12T19:05:20.161-08:00Does having higher levels of oxygen in the body help prevent Cancer?<p><i>Please Note: This is an old blog post that I relocated here from another website of mine that I recently deleted. The original date of this post is July 11th, 2012.</i></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjb7_0_PadYAHibJ5DHh5tgD2BAt57D_pyOdAeaPW8NYDCc05yzMUERpOS6ftzzSdSJrcG2mJmWQ2vz53P-1hTN19Z6ECimVFlZN0-4DHPz8ByiKSuzCBVB2UINs_5a3L7lvplwvucl1lLZ_T4qQ1QGcAqlhAiST2LOhcPS1k2eZWdTBKawmxKqxF43Dg=s400" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="400" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjb7_0_PadYAHibJ5DHh5tgD2BAt57D_pyOdAeaPW8NYDCc05yzMUERpOS6ftzzSdSJrcG2mJmWQ2vz53P-1hTN19Z6ECimVFlZN0-4DHPz8ByiKSuzCBVB2UINs_5a3L7lvplwvucl1lLZ_T4qQ1QGcAqlhAiST2LOhcPS1k2eZWdTBKawmxKqxF43Dg=s320" width="320" /></a></div><div>This post was inspired by a Q & A section on another website, from a question entitled: “Is there any real proof that genetics relate to disease?”</div><div><br /></div><div>While, in my opinion, the answer is clear, many folks think that it is merely a hypothesis or even a big load of steaming dung, that a person with higher levels of oxygen has a better chance of preventing cancer.</div><div><br /></div><div>See, here’s the thing, it is not the “oxygen treatments” that are available today, that disproves or proves this notion, but the fact that if your body is full of oxygen through and throughout, that cancer really doesn’t have a home. Easier said than done, sure, but have you ever thought that the most complicated mysteries could very well have the simplest solutions? Have you ever wondered why life in the past used to grow bigger and live longer?</div><div><br /></div><div>Anyway, I’ve noticed over the years, that when a person does get cancer in areas of the body where oxygen should be most abundant, that the spread of the disease and the death rate increases substantially. Look at it this way, how rare is heart cancer??? When a person gets lung cancer, oral/throat cancer, etc. (highly oxygenated areas), the outlook is often grim, and so on.</div><div><br /></div><div>Now, before the skeptics come in with all the babble about how oxygenation therapy, hyperoxygenation, bio-oxidative therapy, oxidative therapy, ozone therapy, autohemotherapy, hydrogen peroxide therapy, oxidology, oxymedicine, and germanium sesquioxide are utter baloney, like the ones mentioned on this site (link is no longer active), I would like to make a point that I’m talking about before cancer sets in, ya know, as a preventative measure and so forth…</div><div><br /></div><div>I recently found a website that spoke about what I have thought for a long while about this subject, during the first couple of paragraphs, here:</div><div><br /></div><div><a href="https://www.cancerfightingstrategies.com/oxygen-and-cancer.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://www.cancerfightingstrategies.com/oxygen-and-cancer.html</a></div><div><br /></div><div>There very well could be a link between oxygen levels in the body and cancer. One of the main reasons for cancer is when a person has low levels of cellular oxygen. Cells can turn cancerous when low levels of oxygen damage the respiration enzymes to the point to where they cannot produce energy using oxygen.</div><div><br /></div><div>A quick excerpt from that particular site: “In 1931 Dr. Warburg won his first Nobel Prize for proving cancer is caused by a lack of oxygen respiration in cells. He stated in an article titled The Prime Cause and Prevention of Cancer that “the cause of cancer is no longer a mystery; we know it occurs whenever any cell is denied 60% of its oxygen requirements.”</div><div><br /></div><div>“Cancer, above all other diseases, has countless secondary causes. But, even for cancer, there is only one prime cause. Summarized in a few words, the prime cause of cancer is the replacement of the respiration of oxygen in normal body cells by a fermentation of sugar. All normal body cells meet their energy needs by respiration of oxygen, whereas cancer cells meet their energy needs in great part by fermentation. All normal body cells are thus obligate aerobes, whereas all cancer cells are partial anaerobes.”</div><div><br /></div><div>Now, one may ask, how do you elevate your body’s level of oxygen and how will all of my organs and cells be provided with an ample supply of oxygen at all times? One could automatically start going into things like “natural cures” and promote herbal <a href="https://health-fitness-guru.blogspot.com/2021/10/homeostasis-vs-hormone-boosting.html" target="_blank">supplements</a> like <a href="https://health-fitness-guru.blogspot.com/2014/12/hot-or-warm-koreanpanax-ginseng-vs-cold.html" target="_blank">Ginseng</a>, that supposedly raises oxygen levels and a sense of well-being; one could start harping about exercise, not smoking, and so on, but one could also blame such matters on the pH level of your blood and speak about ways to elevate your pH, eat more veggies and less meat, blah, blah, etc.</div><div><br /></div><div>I know this was a rather quick blog post without very much elaboration, but it is one of those types of queries and thought-provoking subjects (in my opinion) that I think would be better discussed in the comment field or left up to the reader to research for their self. Hey, only YOU can truly change your ways and only YOU can control your mindset, beliefs, actions and whatnot. In short, just think of all the different ways the body becomes healthier when your blood flows freely while your body is stress free, happy, laughing, exercising, thinking, breathing nicely, etc., and perhaps you may find the best preventative measure for disease within your own self, yet… One can only hope, as this is just a simple drug-free idea, but for anybody to say that oxygen is not an enemy of the cell-killing cancer, must not be thinking very clearly since <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/we-get-most-of-our-oxygen-from-ocean.html">oxygen</a> is what keeps you ALIVE during your brief stay on this lovely Blue Planet. Cheers!</div><div><br /></div><div>I’d appreciate any feedback that anybody is willing to offer, in the comment field below...</div><div><br /></div><div>[Side note: This post originally had numerous comments, but that was when I first posted it to a community writing site. I lost the comment field to that site during the transfer. However, when I moved it to my main website in the past, it only had one additional comment, which I will provide below. Hopefully, it will garner more responses in due time since I re-posted it here, to the blogger platform, etc.]</div><div><br /></div><div>Comment #1:</div><div>Robert R. says:</div><div>August 2, 2012 at 5:09 am</div><div>I might as well throw in my 2 cents worth… We look at cancer as cell deterioration, new cells that lack a controlled growth pattern. If the cancer breaks out in a place where we have an old injury or a weakened portion in the body it only indicates that the cancer is in the bloodstream. It only accumulates, like a boil or an ulcer, in a weakened area and drains the poisons in a weakened area. The medical profession cuts it out and says, “Well the cancer’s all gone.” The cancer breaks out in another place. The bloodstream must be cleaned. The causes may come from a variety of areas, air, non- nutritious food, water, genetics etc. Since 90% of all disease comes from the bowel or even more clearly, from the table (food we eat), you are right, our best prevention starts right there. The battle for health is over pH, again I agree with you. The only way to truly reverse diseases is to re-establish health internally at the cellular and system level. No offense meant but doctors are sick care specialists, not health care specialists. You have sick care insurance, not health care insurance, so it leads to a disease epidemic, rather than a health epidemic. The only way of establishing health to a patient is to use organic natural substances coming from clean air, clean food, clean beverages, and clean environment (well 2 out of 4 ain't all bad). You cannot use a kill mode mindset of killing pathogens inside the human body without killing part of the patient too.</div><div><br /></div><div>Comment #2: Robert: Thanks for actually adding a quality comment, as not only was it related to the subject, it also added to the content; cheers!</div><div><br /></div><div>---End of Previous Comment Field</div><div><br /></div><div>Image Credit: perpendicularity.org/blog/ [link is no longer active]</div><div><br /></div><div>---End of Post "Does having higher levels of oxygen in the body help prevent Cancer?"</div>Obscurely Diversehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00093125094173965474noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8104720100782472242.post-39726136626369235092022-03-11T18:43:00.001-08:002022-03-11T18:48:29.948-08:00Genetically Altered Animals & Cultured Meat<p><i>Please Note: This is an old blog post that I transferred here from a website of mine that I recently deleted. The original date of this post is September 7th, 2012. </i></p><p>…This particular subject dawned upon me today, after re-reading a brief blog post that I wrote in the past (about 1.5 years ago) about the "<a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2011/04/chupacabra-goat-sucker.html" target="_blank">Chupacabra – Goat Sucker</a>" on a Myths, Legends, & Folklore Blogspot. While perusing over this old material, I was trying to not get hit broadside with folklore while I kicked the legends and pushed the myths far away. …This left me in a critical thinking mode, and I no longer needed some mythical creature as a focal point, as it was plain as day that we have our own genetically altered animals of today that beckons for a closer look. To make this even more troublesome, we got people trying to grow meat products in a laboratory, hence forth the “cultured meat” part of the title for this post.</p><p>Before I provide any related links and information about this subject, please get this simple word embedded into your <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/hominid-brain-sizes.html">brain</a>, which is <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/01/the-history-of-money-barter-trade-gifts.html">MONEY!</a> Yep, the true culprit for these <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2010/05/satyrs-centaurs-mythical-hybrids.html" target="_blank">bizarre genetic experiments</a> is about money, no matter what lovely reason of utter humanitarianism they try to feed you.</p><p>Anyway, the first article I’m about to link to, speaks about genetically modified animals.</p><p>It starts off by saying how it is a slow and tedious process that needs a lot of money to get off the ground. Oh, but ain’t the sole purpose of this to make a lot of money? Remember the old saying, “ya gotta spend money to make money.” Think about it: If you can grow meat in a lab along with animal-based organs for human transplant, wouldn’t that be a mega-money maker? Who cares about our health and/or if it is natural or how much antibiotics and <a href="https://health-fitness-guru.blogspot.com/2021/10/homeostasis-vs-hormone-boosting.html" target="_blank">growth hormones</a> these “things” are pumped with or where it comes from, as if we can sell this crap in bulk, we got some rich folks in the making…</p><p>At any insane rate, after that article mentioned how this “genetically altered animals” stuff was a slow process, they went on to say: “Behind the scenes, though, a quiet revolution has been taking place. Thanks to a set of new tricks and tools, modifying animals is becoming a lot easier and more precise. That is not only going to transform research, it could also transform the meat and eggs you eat and the milk you drink.”</p><p>Toward the end of that page, they sort of spilled the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/02/primordial-soup-theory-or-primitive.html">beans</a> by asking this question: So, in 20 years will GM (genetically modified) animals be as widespread as their botanic counterparts are now? “Technologically, nothing is standing in our way,” says Fahrenkrug. “Really, the issue is coming down to: what are you going to make?” You can read more about this, here: <i>http://www.brainwaving.com/2010/07/28/genetically-modified-animals/</i></p><p>I think most of you will find that last article to be somewhat interesting, but not necessarily in a good way.</p><p>Hey, just think of the possibilities! Do you want a cool pet that <a href="https://exotic-life-creatures.blogspot.com/2015/03/glowing-plants-and-glow-in-dark-trees.html" target="_blank">glows in the dark</a>? You want some cheap <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/usda-prime-choice-select-grade-and.html">prime cuts of beef</a> that was grown in a petri dish via not-so-natural methods? Yada-yada… They also tend to blame some of this type of research for the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/interplanetary-travel-secret-journey-to.html">long journeys that space flights</a> may have in the future, but I know that is one big load of baloney. I mean, NASA doesn’t have to provide their astronauts with a never-ending supply of lab-grown steaks, right? Get real…</p><p>I planned on covering more ground about the genetically altered animals, but I see (I sort of write as I go) that the main concern of mine at the moment, when concerning this subject, is this cultured meat stuff. I went to the glorious Wikipedia to get additional info and terms, and they seem to mainly call this junk “in vetro meat” but they mentioned how it is also called “cultured meat,” “laboratory-grown meat” and “shmeat” which is short for sheet meat, so go figure…</p><p>Back to <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/03/solar-storms-flares-nasa-video.html">NASA</a>, Wikipedia states: “Modern research into ‘in vitro’ meat arose out of experiments conducted by NASA, attempting to find improved forms of long-term food for astronauts in space. The technique was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 1995, and NASA has been conducting experiments since 2001, producing ‘in vitro’ meat from turkey cells. The first edible form was produced by the NSR/Touro Applied BioScience Research Consortium in 2000: goldfish cells grown to resemble fish fillets.”</p><p>You know, in a way, I could say “good for y’all.” Personally, I don’t want Lab Meat that has to be pumped full of growth hormones and antibiotics, just so they can mass produce it and make tons of money while neglecting our health risks. Yes, they have admitted to that, as well, and you can read about it, here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_vitro_meat [link is no longer active, but as the years went by, it now re-directs to this URL with modified information, here: <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultured_meat" target="_blank">Cultured meat - Wikipedia</a>]</p><p>To make a long complaint short, everything that man has done to the food that isn’t natural, has never been good. Artificial this, artificial that, chemical injection here, a word I can’t pronounce in the ingredient list there, etc. Hell, when you think about it, cakes, pies and “junk food” aren’t natural either [I can hear the moans now…], as I have never seen a twinkie or cupcake grow from the ground yet; ha! I’m not trying to come off as a technology hater, but some things need to be left to Mother Nature. It is hard enough now, to find quality meat & produce that hasn’t been totally abused by human input. The last thing we need right now is genetically altered animals and stupid cultured meat that was grown from a petri dish.</p><p>Maybe I’m the oddball here, but what do you think?</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiJsqWXeXM1Nb7qusCJNN58M2NW7DgIUtaU0dNw2FNtLCoqsRmhhu2FUrvUd1MHY4cXKv47iwypB5dfb1_Bu0oWuUOhlXjMQwoJTCq9KzMT0UdgDq0aYrvuQ0ANwhW1XUox3hSpypdUPDAts68cIoLWKUriZwsZQqnOBTTR28lOO3PFBfo-tl1z5q3ekQ=s450" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="270" data-original-width="450" height="192" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiJsqWXeXM1Nb7qusCJNN58M2NW7DgIUtaU0dNw2FNtLCoqsRmhhu2FUrvUd1MHY4cXKv47iwypB5dfb1_Bu0oWuUOhlXjMQwoJTCq9KzMT0UdgDq0aYrvuQ0ANwhW1XUox3hSpypdUPDAts68cIoLWKUriZwsZQqnOBTTR28lOO3PFBfo-tl1z5q3ekQ=s320" width="320" /></a></div><p>At times, a Petri Dish is best when it's empty...</p><p>Image Credit: perpendicularity.org/blog/ [link is no longer active]</p><p>---End of Post "Genetically Altered Animals & Cultured Meat"</p>Obscurely Diversehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00093125094173965474noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8104720100782472242.post-87083510995327031952022-03-05T19:06:00.000-08:002022-03-05T19:06:02.727-08:00Has the Earth’s Axis Shifted? I will say this, though, as I’m a little concerned about the effects that the melting of our planet’s polar ice caps may have, as simple math will dictate a massive change in the way the weight is distributed on this planet, could very well cause a shift in the Earth’s axis, which can definitely affect weather and much more, depending on the severity of the shift and whatnot.</div><div><br /></div><div>I’ll give you a few examples of what I’d consider negligible amounts of change for the Earth’s Axis, below:</div><div><br /></div><div>A couple years ago, the 9.0 magnitude earthquake that hit Japan shortened Earth’s day by just over one-millionth of a second (1.8 microseconds to be exact), according to NASA. It also shifted the Earth’s axis by about 6.5 inches. The reason why I consider that to be a small amount, is because a microsecond equals one millionth of a second. You can read about several examples online, such as the one that happened 3 years ago, which was the massive earthquake that struck Chile. The magnitude 9.1 earthquake in 2004 that generated a killer tsunami in the Indian Ocean, supposedly shortened the length of days by 6.8 microseconds. One could easily say that all of these events add up, but it also works the other way around, as certain shifts of mass can also lengthen days, in a microscopic sort of way, as well. I’m not going to list all of the events, such as earthquakes that have had a minuscule effect on Earth’s axis, as this planet has been shaking and quaking for quite a long while, to say the least!</div><div><br /></div><div>Without any overly complicated data or extra technology involved, as many of you know, the Earth’s axis tilt, which is roughly 23.4 degrees +/-, is the reason for the seasons on Earth. …So any type of major shift or a bunch of minor ones that accumulate over time, will definitely have a major impact on this planet’s weather and seismic activity, no matter what some people may try to tell ya! I don’t know about you, but there seems to be less transitional periods between Summer time and Winter time, than it used to be. Basically, what I’m saying is, there seemed to be longer Spring & Fall times, in the past – at least where I live. Then again, the weather changes like our moods and last year’s winter was rather mild in my area, but it was a little colder this year, so go figure…</div><div><br /></div><div>Now, what about all of this polar ice that continues to melt? It seems that this major event has been getting swept under the rug for the last couple of decades. I’ve even read in the past, how a lot of polar imagery has been censored by the government, but I don’t know how true that claim is. However, after reading my post about <b>Antarctica (Lake Vostok – Mystery at the Center of Antarctica) </b>[Link is temporarily inactive since I haven't re-posted it yet], for example, there may be exposure to some of those cool alien underground facilities or hidden bunkers down there, but who knows… right? But in all seriousness, “sea ice is always melting near one pole while growing around the other, but the overall trend year to year (at least the last several years) is dramatically less ice in the Arctic and slightly more in the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/who-can-truly-claim-antarctica.html">Antarctic</a>.” You can read more about that on an article entitled “Antarctic Sea Ice Growth Pales in Comparison To Arctic Losses,” which you can find, here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/10/antarctic-sea-ice_n_1955662.html [link is no longer active]</div><div><br /></div><div>I once wrote a web page that was a <b><a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/02/satire-reasons-for-polar-shift-revealed.html">parody about the polar shift</a></b>, and it involved a humorous weight displacement theory along with a proportional imbalance from the northern hemisphere to the southern hemisphere, that could cause a polar shift. Well, when you factor in all the weight that we are losing up top via the melting of ice, this theory may hold true after all. Within that post, though, I was comparing overweight Americans getting balanced out by large mammals from Africa, etc., as a joke; ha!</div><div><br /></div><div>At any rate, changes to the Earth’s rotation are not only caused by massive earthquakes, as supposedly larger effects are seen with oceanic currents and atmospheric winds, but lets not leave out my concern (among many others) about the changes brought about by the melting of polar ice along with the mass redistributions in the mantle. Also, in addition to this, we should all know that a major impact from a comet or a <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/02/hypothetical-ways-to-deflect-asteroid.html">large asteroid</a> would also affect the tilt of Earth’s axis, but why add to the doom & gloom chatter, eh?</div><div>Of course, the gravitational pull of other celestial bodies could also impact our axis and cause an ongoing shift that disrupts our weather, rotation, etc. </div><div><br /></div><div>If any <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2015/01/what-is-up-with-nibiru-planet-x.html" target="_blank">Planet X/Nibiru</a> Guru wannabes land on this post, please try to not wet yourself in the comment field while typing about all the swill & slop you have read on conspiracy theorist-type websites and/or how Planet X is the cause for every problem on Earth and/or how hordes of Barbarians from Planet Ogo are coming soon to take over the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/movies-related-to-hollow-earth-theory.html">Hollow Earth</a> and the new leader will rise from the south pole and cast wrath upon thee; blah, blah… LOL! </div><div><br /></div><div>Anyway, I would type more, but since this is one of those subjects that is better left for the comment field, I’ll leave it at that. I must remind you, though, regardless of this crazed, shifted notion by way of the precarious Earth’s axis, if the melting of the ice caps truly gets out of hand, we might find a lot of flooding issues and water contamination going on, so use some common sense and think of ways to filtrate, purify and store clean drinking water, if ya get my drift … or was that shift? The original date of this post is January 9th, 2012.</i></p><p>Well, I’ve just been running into debatable subjects all week it seems, like I mentioned on my last post about <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/01/were-we-born-with-altruism-and.html">Altruism & Conscience</a>. I never thought there was much to debate about on whether or not black holes exist, but that the questions would be more about understanding them and how they work. One of the biggest questions non-scientific people often ask doesn’t really have to do with the concepts behind it, by what scientists theorize. That question would be: What is on the other side of a black hole? Of course, a creative science fiction answer would be: Another dimension or perhaps another universe. Sounds great, but is that true? [Nah, probably not. Sure, there could definitely be <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/02/4th-5th-dimensions-time-travel-parallel.html">other dimensions and universes</a>, but a "black hole" is a doubtful portal to such.]</p><p>Well, it seems more like black holes create or shall I say “form” spiral galaxies for this 3-dimensional <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-universe-might-not-make-sense.html">universe</a>, and that black holes are formed from large <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/life-sequence-of-stars.html">dying stars</a>. It sounds more like a recycle bin, galactic garbage can, and a galaxy creator, if ya ask me. I noticed many years ago, before I ever heard such talk (before the Internet was available and everybody was a genius or a feign online scientist), while looking through my space books and encyclopedias, that spiral galaxies appeared as if they were spiraling down a toilet, as if a hole or vacuum formed it, etc. Now, many years later, scientists are openly stating such things. Damn, all I did was look at the pretty pictures, and came to that conclusion as a kid. Well, I’m not going to blog about the joys of intuition, as that would be another subject; ha! </p><p>The universe is so vast that the sheer size of the cosmos is beyond our comprehension, as we can only theorize, use deductive reasoning, logic, and rational thoughts to a certain point. …And after a while, it all becomes land of the woo-woos for us humanoids, but ain’t it fun, though? </p><p>Now, back to this black hole stuff… Here’s an excerpt from NASA’s website: “Don’t let the name fool you: a black hole is anything but empty space. Rather, it is a great amount of matter packed into a very small area – think of a star ten times more massive than the Sun squeezed into a sphere approximately the diameter of New York City. The result is a gravitational field so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape. In recent years, NASA instruments have painted a new picture of these strange objects that are, to many, the most fascinating objects in space.”</p><p>I mentioned earlier that they are formed from large dying stars, going by what I have read and studied in the past. Personally, I haven’t buzzed around the cosmos lately, since my high-tech flying saucers are all out of order at the moment and in desperate need of repair. But, as NASA states on their website: “Most black holes form from the remnants of a large star that dies in a supernova explosion. (Smaller stars become dense neutron stars, which are not massive enough to trap light.) If the total mass of the star is large enough (about three times the mass of the Sun), it can be proven theoretically that no force can keep the star from collapsing under the influence of gravity.” Sounds good to me… You can read more about this subject, here: https://science.nasa.gov/astrophysics/focus-areas/black-holes/ </p><p>Anyway, one of the main reasons why I’m doing this post, is because some clown (along with several others) that was on a discussion forum while claiming to be knowledgeable in all subjects related to science, space, astrophysics, etc., said that black holes are fairy tales and voodoo for stupid mathematicians. WTF? This is the same guy that also has to “Google” everything for most of his replies, but somehow got lost in his/her own black hole on that particular subject. Once again, the word “hole” is what screws some people up, as it does sound like they are describing something that rips a hole through the fabric of space and whatnot, but that’s not what they mean – at least at the moment, but then again, scientific understandings of the universe tend to change over time, so who really freakin’ knows? </p><p>Now, back to this multiple dimension stuff… If we are talking about a possible way to travel through the cosmos by way of a shortcut and/or possibly into another universe, dimension, whatever, I would at least use a theory involving wormholes, artificial or natural, but not black holes, unless I just felt like being funny and wanted to get in touch with my inner science fictional fantasies…</p><p>I suppose there is no reason for me to delve into the land of wormholes, since there is, at the time I’m writing this, no observational evidence for such, just theory, etc. If you’re interested, just do what a lot of these self-professed gurus do online and perform Internet searches for it so you can be an expert within minutes and can call yourself a “scientist,” as well. After you copy & paste some material into the comment sections and/or use ’em for forum replies, you can achieve the credit that took some people years to learn. Ha-ha! Okay, enough jokes about that asinine crap…</p><p>Spiral Galaxies… What a beauty they are to look at, thanks to <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/03/solar-storms-flares-nasa-video.html">NASA</a>. Another good thing about their images, is that they are not copyright material and can be posted and shared by anyone. Speaking of such, I was going to end this post with a few images of these spectacular spiral galaxies. Oh, by the way, in case you’re really young or not very educated, we live within a spiral galaxy called the Milky Way, just saying… LOL!</p><p>Oh, and one more thing before I drop down the galactic depictions: If you’re interested in a book that elaborately covers several topics related to black holes, wormholes, and time warps along with many other interesting subjects, all in an easy-to-understand fashion, go here: “<b>Kip S. The original, exact date of this post is lost, but it was sometime during the fantastic year of 2012.</i></p><p>Well, many of you have most likely heard a lot of talk about doomsday, end of the world babble, Mayan Prophesies, Dec. 21, 2012 chatter, and a lot of other verbiage concerning global disasters, mega earthquakes, storms, solar flares, a <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/02/satire-reasons-for-polar-shift-revealed.html">polar shift</a>, and the works.</p><p>Now, before we get too excited, one must realize that the weather is about as unpredictable as a woman (Ha-ha! Just kidding…). No matter what year it is, natural disaster can strike, and cataclysmic events can occur. This “end of the world 2012” talk has sort of got hyped up by the media and uneducated drama queens, for example. On this post, I’m not getting into any of that other stuff, as this particular blog entry is intended to be a quick video post via NASA, about solar storms and flares.</p><p>Now, you may ask: Should I be worried about major solar flares and/or storms from the sun during the next several months? Well, I would say that it isn’t a bad idea to be prepared for an electrical blackout, if the worst-case scenario takes place. You know, like stock up on canned goods, ammunition for your guns, alcohol (if you like booze), etc. Most likely, since we have the technology to detect the flares and solar storms while knowing when they are coming to Earth a couple days before impact, we will have a better chance for taking preventative measures that may help protect our power grids, etc.</p><p>But, in fact, scientists are warning that when they hit, if large enough, they could potentially knock out power grids, GPS satellites, airline communications and incite nuclear meltdowns. The solar flare cycle occurs about every 11 years and is expected to reach its peak of activity (on this current cycle) around June 2013 or thereabouts. The cycle starts with the flares slowly calming down, becoming relatively dormant, then picking back up until it peaks near the end of its 11-year cycle. This has been going on, as long as we can tell, for a very, very long time.</p><p>Here’s an example of the effect they can have: In 1989, a solar flare damaged a power grid in Quebec, Canada, cutting power for hours to millions of people. [Blog Insert: <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/do-they-make-bicycle-based-generators.html">Do they make bicycle-based generators?</a>] But, it could have been worse…</p><p>The Solar and Heliospheric Observatory spacecraft captured this image of a solar flare as it erupted from the sun early on Tuesday, October 28, 2003. This was the most powerful flare measured with modern methods. I’m sure we have had some really big ones down through the history of mankind, but there wouldn’t have been much of an effect then, since we didn’t have all that technical stuff, electrical devices, communication systems, and so on, back then. One good thing, when it comes to solar storms, is that we have a fairly thick atmosphere that protects us from outside radiation.</p><p>Anyway, instead of reading about what I may have to say about this tempestuous/stormy subject, check out the video from NASA, below:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/oOXVZo7KikE" width="320" youtube-src-id="oOXVZo7KikE"></iframe></div><p>Related External Links: “Solar Flares threaten to disrupt devices…” [link is no longer active] and “<a href="https://www.nasa.gov/topics/earth/features/2012-superFlares.html" target="_blank">NASA – 2012: Killer Solar Flares Are a Physical Impossibility</a>”</p><p>Semi-related Blog Link: “<a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/02/the-mystery-of-fire-who-in-hell.html">The Mystery of Fire – who in the hell discovered it?</a>"</p><p>---End of Post “Solar Storms & Flares – NASA Video”</p>Obscurely Diversehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00093125094173965474noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8104720100782472242.post-33984875639064498122022-02-14T19:19:00.000-08:002022-02-14T19:19:02.454-08:00The Mystery of Fire – who in the hell discovered it?<p><i>This is an old blog post from a website of mine that I recently deleted. The original date of this post is sometime during the year 2011. All of the images below are my own. But anyway, let's get on with it...</i></p><p><b>Who in the hell, first discovered fire?</b></p><p><b>A campfire encountering a blaze of glory...</b></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEh2FNClfF1y1PT0BSXZAGMnx1GxnP0LPrBk6k8IyQxBd7BxZ-AWLMk9KKpRKKbnvAKesDhVMwx6xN2gKMGCb9cXS2GKCgAF6AsPmQ0X7HMa5aU6ed6Eb8VSKiyXKjinpos1GZbgt6GWY89zTeXCSwW1z_8d30X5bfChZXr40YgD9xAuIdGU_EbZzCzt3Q=s640" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEh2FNClfF1y1PT0BSXZAGMnx1GxnP0LPrBk6k8IyQxBd7BxZ-AWLMk9KKpRKKbnvAKesDhVMwx6xN2gKMGCb9cXS2GKCgAF6AsPmQ0X7HMa5aU6ed6Eb8VSKiyXKjinpos1GZbgt6GWY89zTeXCSwW1z_8d30X5bfChZXr40YgD9xAuIdGU_EbZzCzt3Q=s320" width="320" /></a></div><p>It is a simple question, in a way, but cloudy at the same time. It is not clear who, what or when fire was first discovered, but there are many estimated conjectures out there…</p><p>First of all, let's clear up one commonly misphrased question. A lot of people, and even many an article has been written with the terms or subject line: “who invented fire?” You can’t invent something that happens naturally. Anyway… It’s a debatable matter and somewhat of a mystery, but some of the earliest evidence of fire usage dates back 1.5 to 1.9 million years ago, thereabouts. Scientific data suggest that it was used in Africa by the early humans, ‘<a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/02/theory-of-evolution-where-is-missing.html">Homo erectus</a>’ – the hominid before our beloved race of today’s raging, rifely rampant Homo sapiens with radical rhetoric. But was it controlled way back then (1.9 +/- million years ago) or was it maintained from natural causes?</p><p>With Homo erectus often getting credit for being the original fire starters, it brings many questions, like I mentioned above, as to whether they made fire or if they found it and/or discovered it and simply preserved it. By ‘<a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2010/09/do-you-have-aura.html" target="_blank">finding</a>’ it, I mean to find it in natural form…as fire cannot be invented since it can also occur naturally. And by ‘preserving’ it, I’m implying that they could have transported hot embers from place to place, to re-start new fires – hey, some hunter-gatherers in the past, did this.</p><p>But, as the old story goes, it was some <a href="https://health-fitness-guru.blogspot.com/2011/03/quit-blaming-meat.html" target="_blank">caveman</a> rubbing sticks together…maybe clashing stones or rocks, seen a spark and got the idea about the relations between friction & heat; who in the hell knows? The point is, nobody really has a definite answer when it comes to how this mystery of scorching bliss started or how it came into use for light, heat sources, and for cooking methods; it just happened, I suppose…</p><p>Like I’ve said in the past, maybe some <a href="https://mundane-blog.blogspot.com/2011/11/just-another-ancient-mystery-nazca.html" target="_blank">aliens</a>, from long ago, came down in a spaceship and displayed some pyrotechnics, then provided some know-how on how to start a fire – for these primitive beings. When it comes to aliens or an “outer entity” being the origin of this self-made version of a flaming heat source for Earth’s inhabitants, it can be proven about as much as any other fire-starting theory. Lightning could have simply struck a tree around these primates, or maybe the mythical god “<a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2010/03/god-of-thunder-zeus-battle-of-titans.html" target="_blank">Zeus</a>” dropped down and got pissed off at what he seen, shot some bolts of fury and left. Hmm, that sounds familiar, ha-ha! You tell me…</p><p>For more humorous suggestions, incorrect info, and fantasy data, etc., go here: http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Fire [link is no longer active] But just remember, that last link was for entertainment purposes only, as they sure as hell aren’t correct…</p><p>Now, for the real reason and motive behind this post: Have you ever wanted to make a primitive ‘fire ring’ consisting of real riverbed rocks or creek rocks, placed in a circle? I don’t mean a modern fire pit with bricks & mortar, I mean one that even a caveman could have built, back in the day. I’ve done it and also have a couple pictures below to display. It is not that hard to do, albeit this does require a little effort. If you have the land space, simply clear out a circle, dig a small pit, add the rocks around it, and presto…let's make a fire.</p><p>I think most people enjoy the campfire scenes. But, after thinking about the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/01/history-of-electricity-from-magnetism.html">history</a> of it all, maybe we enjoy it in such a way that we don’t even consciously realize…sort of like we’re <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/quantum-hypnotic-regression-therapy.html">subconsciously</a> getting back in touch with our primitive roots, perhaps? Either way, a toasty flame is always nice during the cold winter months. Some people like to roast food over it, but nearly all of us enjoy the view – as long as we are not inside or within the hellish inferno, LOL!</p><p><b>Caveman’s Fire Ring – Pre-ignition:</b></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjPX5bkiAQiYDy7S7-fd0CX6xAR-JjDmIfXrIvT_b3Zhn7ge0GlSlcdidIgqyYRsrPD0Nm8066XSAVKjjuZgVyiblfx-mgY-DZkCsvJGbRu8dLVsF57ghzi6ZJmhSvuPqzF8ETIDGNUuCyzoKjqBJ6KBwvUBaRzWtt_aOKciDGTYuHe-6R3W1uFEkC0hg=s850" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="700" data-original-width="850" height="264" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjPX5bkiAQiYDy7S7-fd0CX6xAR-JjDmIfXrIvT_b3Zhn7ge0GlSlcdidIgqyYRsrPD0Nm8066XSAVKjjuZgVyiblfx-mgY-DZkCsvJGbRu8dLVsF57ghzi6ZJmhSvuPqzF8ETIDGNUuCyzoKjqBJ6KBwvUBaRzWtt_aOKciDGTYuHe-6R3W1uFEkC0hg=s320" width="320" /></a></div><p>An encirclement of creek rocks, to bound the future fires...</p><p><b>Caveman says, “I want winter fire, now!” </b></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEg2VR-bS3K_eIHB7mVWefVefOYgvv_7e_oy0DWFdHHp95tt-_EQwxbq6YhabPAR_r6GaFylmw73UBK665LcPYAqQ3GSJfUrQvEAqd_AOC7Bk1CxEH760mCRT6zt-pbdYBG625kkMxuP6OHY8_mG2SDZ2-SO6lVkaHPrOg8eD3XVZ43q4Npb5Zhh_mOzlQ=s950" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="796" data-original-width="950" height="268" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEg2VR-bS3K_eIHB7mVWefVefOYgvv_7e_oy0DWFdHHp95tt-_EQwxbq6YhabPAR_r6GaFylmw73UBK665LcPYAqQ3GSJfUrQvEAqd_AOC7Bk1CxEH760mCRT6zt-pbdYBG625kkMxuP6OHY8_mG2SDZ2-SO6lVkaHPrOg8eD3XVZ43q4Npb5Zhh_mOzlQ=s320" width="320" /></a></div><p>It was a frigid day, so I started a furious fire amid the snow. Sure, you can read about life on the ISS (Internation Space Station), but that is not what I mean by advancements. I'm talking about sustainable living conditions where you can grow enough food for a colony, provide your own <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/we-get-most-of-our-oxygen-from-ocean.html">oxygen</a>, be energy independent, extract and <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2016/12/mining-asteroids-for-resources-minerals.html">mine for all of your water & resources</a> and build from there.</div><div><br /></div><div>This subject recently came to mind, when I was talking to some conspiracy theorist online that basically told me that we are not allowed to have manned <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/will-we-eventually-create-high-speed.html">spaceships in space</a> (in certain areas) due to some type of alien law… WTF? Is that really the reason? Maybe the cost of building massive outer space colonies and the fact that we, <a href="https://anti-dolt.blogspot.com/2015/02/the-things-et-does-not-tell-you-about.html" target="_blank">HUMANS, are not biologically built for deep space travel</a> are partly to blame – and that all the travelling required for the betterment of mankind is right here on Earth, for the time being. I mean seriously, the mind is a <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-universe-might-not-make-sense.html">universe</a> in itself, so why not use it!?</div><div><br /></div><div>To make this a little more interesting, let's go ahead and bring up the fact that we, humanoids, might also have a problem procreating on a space station due to the cosmic radiation, so WE (as much as I hate to say it) better temporarily pull the plug on science fiction and figure this thing out for real, if we are serious about living in deep space. By the way, would constant exposure to the factors of outer space also turn our muscles into spaghetti? I actually made a comment on that cosmic spaghetti post a couple years ago, #20th comment under the name "perpendicularity" and it was funny that I found it still there today. [link: http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/80beats/2010/08/19/a-trip-to-mars-could-reduce-astronauts-muscles-to-spaghetti/]</div><div><br /></div><div>At any rate, do common folks really think these issues are easily overcome by simply hitting a button or flipping a switch? This ain’t cell phone technology, and your I-Pod can’t save you, as I’m talking about living in Outer Space, outside of Earth, for the rest of your pathetic lives…</div><div><br /></div><div>Now, back to the procreation point:</div><div><br /></div><div>Researchers at the agency’s Ames Research Centre in California found that without effective shielding on spacecraft, powerful proton particles would probably sterilize any female embryo conceived in deep space – in addition to the probability that male fertility was also likely to be negatively affected (due to a negative impact on the sperm count). Unless we advance to greater speeds, travel to distant planets is likely to take decades, centuries or longer, and this could make any mission to colonize other environments a non-starter. The scientists noted that space-shield technology is currently not sufficiently advanced enough to offer an ample amount of protection from this type of <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/07/radiation-is-everywhere-common-sources.html">radiation</a>.</div><div><br /></div><div>Here’s a quote from this page (http://theweek.com/article/index/212267/why-humans-will-never-colonize-space), here: Why couldn’t humans colonize outer space?</div><div>“Because any child conceived and born in space is likely to be born sterile. Scientists at NASA say that the high levels of radiation in space would kill any female fetus’ lifetime supply of eggs, while males in the womb would likely become sterile. The child could also suffer “mental and physical defects” from exposure to harmful radiation.”</div><div><br /></div><div>We need an atmosphere to protect us, is the bottom line. Sure, if we could somehow inhabit Mars and find a way to make it work, then yes, we could most likely procreate without the ill effects of damaging radiation, but I wouldn’t bet money on it! I’m totally an original series Star Trek fan, but unless we get some serious help from an alien race (one can only guess the motive), then it looks like it is going to take a little longer than expected!</div><div><br /></div><div>---Side Note: If I was a conspiracy theorist, I’d be having a ball with this post and would fill the comment field full of interesting junk that is featured from today’s most popular reject websites…</div><div><br /></div><div>Anyway, when it is all said and done, we let ourselves get ahead in thought before practicality, albeit I still favor imagination and intuition. …This is normal, but many of us shoot for the stars before we are able to properly hit the targets here on this planet (or is that called “shooting yourself in the foot?”). Even though the main question on this post is “Will humans ever colonize outer space?” – an even better question may concern the query as to whether or not we can co-exist with Mother Nature. Ha! What do you think? No, never? During the next 10 years? Anywhere from 10 to 40 years? Or perhaps you couldn’t care less about fully self-sufficient space stations or what we colonize, either way. Ha!</div><div><br /></div><div>Whether or not you believe that humans will have success even within our own solar system, have you ever heard of this crazy book: “<a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/interplanetary-travel-secret-journey-to.html">Interplanetary Travel: Secret Journey to Planet Serpo</a>“</div><div><br /></div><div>---End of Part 1: "Will Humans ever Colonize Outer Space?"</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Part 2: "Will the Colonization of Mars be possible for Humans?"</b></div><div><br /></div><div>Original Post Date: 3-4-2013</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhKSbwcfEjNGJBIhXBqWnevCnIHJ3liOu9uxZBqbZNh_-n8pqXL3KUX3fJnn8_AAVEeEq9XbyfJ2j_seJharo5Ludx376mk8ae26iSDQrz9-JJAQnNmZAhbq2bHLwQ3oABceDdZYhc4YnRActZ4MZDbhOaBRbasBhibd9zKgj6htzu18Y2hj-VoCohj_A=s300" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="231" data-original-width="300" height="231" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhKSbwcfEjNGJBIhXBqWnevCnIHJ3liOu9uxZBqbZNh_-n8pqXL3KUX3fJnn8_AAVEeEq9XbyfJ2j_seJharo5Ludx376mk8ae26iSDQrz9-JJAQnNmZAhbq2bHLwQ3oABceDdZYhc4YnRActZ4MZDbhOaBRbasBhibd9zKgj6htzu18Y2hj-VoCohj_A" width="300" /></a></div><div>This article will act as a sequel to the one I wrote a while back, entitled “Will Humans ever Colonize Outer Space?”</div><div><br /></div><div>…Going by the current poll results from that page, after analyzing the data from the massive 15 votes it received, it seems that 40% of the people think that outer space colonization will be possible in 10 to 40 years via space stations. 33% says that they couldn’t care less about stupid space stations and are still thinking about procreating on Earth. 20% simply say “no” and 7% of those voters say that it will be less than 10 years from now, but hold on to your seats, as the votes are still pouring in… [The Poll is no longer available]</div><div><br /></div><div>Wow! With this particular piece of data that I have recently collected, I am now ready to become an aspiring author and write a book that describes the possible birth defects of space babies, only to be followed up with a wonderful novel that entails cattle mutilations & <a href="https://mundane-blog.blogspot.com/2011/11/cow-abductions-via-aliens-ufos.html" target="_blank">cow abductions from UFOs</a> and why the aliens are displeased with McDonald’s version of 100% beef burgers… Just think, I’ll be rich way before these Earth-bound humanoids get the space stations built… Hurrah!</div><div><br /></div><div>At any less than insane rate, I am getting way off track here. This post is about planet Mars and the not-so-far-fetched idea of human colonization on the Red Planet.</div><div><br /></div><div>I’m sure that many of you have heard about the project “Mars One.” If everything goes as planned, from the time I’m writing this, they say that certain humans from this planet will land on Mars 10 years from now, during 2023. For those of you that are not aware of this project, check out the short video, below: [Video is no longer available. Hmm... I wonder what happened? Ha!]</div><div><br /></div><div>Of course, for these “Mars One” folks, it is a one-way trip; if you journey to Mars, you shall stay until you die. I know they will have plenty of volunteers sign up that meet the requirements to go, that is, if this project unfolds as predicted, but that is one boat I would never get on. Unless I knew for a fact that this planet was about to be blasted into mass extinction, (Where is the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/movies-related-to-hollow-earth-theory.html">Hollow Earth Theory</a> when you need it?) etc., I would not go. Anyway, that is what they are saying now, but if everything goes successfully and they can sustain life on the Red Planet, then you know dang well they could come back to Earth, no matter what they claim within their program.</div><div><br /></div><div>Okay, whether or not we should be concentrating on doing this or not, let's focus on the “why” and what good could spawn from it and/or how it could help humanity. Personally, I’m not interested in hearing about that little rover thingy they got buzzing around Mars at the moment, especially since one of the main goals NASA is currently speaking about is how they are seeking out evidence for Martian microbial life from planet Mars. WTF? I would hope that all the ungodly amounts of money spent on NASA’s Mars rover “Curiosity,” was for a little more than dusting rocks, taking crappy images, and wandering around aimlessly while looking for signs of <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/microbial-life-on-saturns-moon-titan.html">microbial life</a>. It would at least make more sense if it was an extensive study to help safeguard future trips and provide us with better insight, if and/or when humans decide to try and land on Mars or even colonize the place, for that matter.</div><div><br /></div><div>Now, back to the “why” part of the equation. First, I’ll provide a couple links that cover this subject somewhat elaborately, in case you need something else to peruse over before forming an opinion, but either way, you can always tell me why you think we should or shouldn’t try to colonize Mars in the future by utilizing the comment field below.</div><div><br /></div><div>* http://www.redcolony.com/features.php?name=whycolonizemars [Why Colonize Mars?]</div><div><br /></div><div>* http://www.nss.org/settlement/mars/zubrin-colonize.html [The Case for Colonizing Mars]</div><div><br /></div><div>[Update: It appears that neither of those links exist anymore in the year 2022.]</div><div><br /></div><div>The reason why the colonization of Mars by humans is something to take somewhat seriously, is firstly because of the surface conditions, such as the availability of frozen ground water. Even though the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/how-did-moon-form.html">Moon</a>, due to its close distance from Earth, has been proposed as the first location for human colonization, lunar gravity is only 16% that of Earth’s while the gravity from our Martian Red Planet is a more substantial 38%. There is more water present on Mars than the Moon, and Mars has a thin atmosphere. These factors give Mars a greater potential capacity to host organic life and human colonization than the moon, and definitely looks like a more productive, quicker option than the fantastical space stations we once dreamed about, at least for now…</div><div><br /></div><div>There are loads of possibilities that come with the notion of colonizing Mars, including the mining of minerals & resources for easy transport back to Earth and the ability to have other means to produce food from another planet to help feed an overly populated one, such as Earth, if we continue to thrive without a massive population decline due to severe cataclysmic events, etc. (Feel free to read about the Terraforming of Mars, here: <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terraforming_of_Mars" target="_blank">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terraforming_of_Mars</a>)</div><div>Plus, we would be even closer to the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/02/hypothetical-ways-to-deflect-asteroid.html">asteroid</a> belt, so there should be lots of goodies to explore there, as well. On the downside, challenges such as low gravity, solar radiation and space weather, retaining atmosphere and water, etc., make the terraforming of Mars a little more difficult than slapping down a few positive remarks on paper and whatnot.</div><div><br /></div><div>I suppose there is too much to cover on this subject for one post, so I’ll stop right here…</div><div><br /></div><div>So, what do you think? Will it be possible for us crafty little humans to succeed in the colonization of Mars?</div><div><br /></div><div>—End of Part 2: "Will the Colonization of Mars be possible for Humans?" I wrote this way back during the time period when the terms "polar shift" was a popular, semi-debatable thing, especially amongst the throngs of conspiracy theorists and the 2012 end-of-the-world specialists. Yes, true awakening is at hand…</div><div><br /></div><div>I keep hearing all of this talk about an upcoming Polar Shift at the end of 2012 and how the ultimate <a href="https://mundane-blog.blogspot.com/2011/09/resources-for-dec-21-2012-doomsday-hype.html" target="_blank">Doomsday</a> is upon us…</div><div><br /></div><div>Well, let me explain, and without you paying me anything, the true global secrets shall be revealed!</div><div><br /></div><div>Put down your Big Macs and say “hold” on the super-sized French fries at your local fast-food joint, as that is part of the freakin’ problem!</div><div>Excessive amounts of lipids got you down? Well, <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/the-gaia-principle.html">Mother Nature</a> feels the same way…</div><div><br /></div><div>Ya see, dear mortals, the upcoming Polar Shift is not due to some cosmic event or from some gravitational misalignment by way of <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2015/01/what-is-up-with-nibiru-planet-x.html" target="_blank">Planet X, Planet Nibiru</a>, Eris or some other foreign celestial body of mass <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/02/hypothetical-ways-to-deflect-asteroid.html">heading this way</a>, it is simply because of the “weight displacement theory” of mankind.</div><div><br /></div><div>As we should all know, <a href="https://anti-dolt.blogspot.com/2010/05/misconceptions-of-skinny.html" target="_blank">obesity is a big problem in America</a> and in a lot of other areas in the Northern Hemisphere, and things are about to turn on its side in due time!</div><div>The large mammals from the southern hemisphere like the Hippos, Elephants, Rhinoceroses, etc., have been acting as a counterbalance for thousands of years. …And now that the American diet has plagued not only America, of course, it has also spread to China, Europe, etc.</div><div>Well, you see, we got too much weight up here on the Northern Hemisphere, folks!</div><div>Even the mighty land mammals down south, are having a hard time balancing this thing out! Please, back away from the table, fellow gluts; put the fork down, and start eating less junk, folks, before we turn the deserts into the arctic tundra, and the jungle into barren land!</div><div><br /></div><div>We have this globe-like thingy, an Earth, if ya will, that spins life around the sun at a constant rate. Mother Nature is awesome in all its glory, but has never been able to grow candy bars, pies, and cakes from the ground, for example. Humans constantly make these things SHE cannot, which pisses her off, so Mother Nature factors in the French Fry guy’s “polar shift via weight displacement theory” from a local McDonald’s, and she is thinking about making it happen. She says, “look, dear bitches, bastards and beloved heathens, along with the lovely <a href="https://anti-dolt.blogspot.com/2010/05/are-bodybuilding-freaks-simply-gluts.html" target="_blank">gluts</a> and flatulent f*cks, if ya keep eating what I don’t provide, I’m going to let this thing shift as it wants; it is your world and so be it.”</div><div><br /></div><div>Well, ladies and gentlemen, there you have it. The reasons for the possible Polar Shift have been revealed!</div><div>You didn’t need to go to Bible college, study ancient history or have a science degree after all, just a little common sense about weight displacement and obesity… We got too much weight up here on the top half of the planet, so please treat those Elephants, Rhinos, and other large mammals down south, with a little extra care, eh? …As they are the only beings that are currently keeping the possible polar shift and erratic Earth wobble, somewhat in check. Cheers! The original date of this post is sometime in September during the year 2012.</i></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEj80-yvFQUEyZfow0nGtOZ2EjGUbOSL_6w4GQTL-o5WMKCICNRnLvCVhKbIzSXJIcJWTn-5NwxyW-8T06Qqr8JyN30dYfzv7hD6upThrBVyweKIi6HUUCbpPvcKgI5AY0kh49Jv27wovMSFBViWiDI4YuXXdMPaqgtgiQT_KwrlHfIQ40srOBz2FsYLKg=s300" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="300" data-original-width="300" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEj80-yvFQUEyZfow0nGtOZ2EjGUbOSL_6w4GQTL-o5WMKCICNRnLvCVhKbIzSXJIcJWTn-5NwxyW-8T06Qqr8JyN30dYfzv7hD6upThrBVyweKIi6HUUCbpPvcKgI5AY0kh49Jv27wovMSFBViWiDI4YuXXdMPaqgtgiQT_KwrlHfIQ40srOBz2FsYLKg" width="300" /></a></div><div>First of all, don’t get your panties in a wad, as this is not a doom & gloom post (although I’m way overdue for one of those) and I’m not saying that the asteroid named Apophis will strike Earth in 2029 or 2036. </div><div><br /></div><div>However, it is an interesting topic, and I recently did a quick search over what people are saying about this subject along with various hypothetical ways to deflect an asteroid – in the event we ever have a big one coming our way. On a good note, as of today, there are no major impacts scheduled anytime soon, but things can change if ya know what I mean.</div><div><br /></div><div>Many folks were chattering about a smaller asteroid (estimated to be around 150 feet across) called “2012 DA14,” that will give <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/movies-related-to-hollow-earth-theory.html">Earth</a> an uncomfortably close shave on Feb. 15, 2013, albeit it will pose no threat to us, according to NASA scientists. Anyway, before we begin to ponder over hypothetical ways to deflect an asteroid, I will say that Apophis is one of the more talked about threats. I find it amusing that they named this lovely celestial body after an evil <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2010/11/what-about-this-god-thing.html" target="_blank">God</a> in <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2010/11/egyptian-magic-books.html" target="_blank">Egyptian</a> mythology that represents darkness and chaos. Oh well, I suppose a threatening name is a good counter for something that is supposedly so harmless; ha!</div><div><br /></div><div>This particular asteroid is estimated to be around 1,000 feet in diameter (plus or minus), which could definitely do some damage upon impact. Originally, it was said that a possible collision with Earth could occur during 2029, but later, it was thought to have a better chance during the year 2036. Hell yeah! That’s 7 extra years! Ha! Fear not, as the all-knowing super-beings from Wikipedia say that it is only a 1 in 250,000 chance that Apophis will drop the bottom out of <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/the-gaia-principle.html">Mother Earth</a>. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/99942_Apophis]</div><div><br /></div><div>When Apophis passes by <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/could-panspermia-cause-diseases-on.html">Earth</a> in 2029, it will most likely change its orbit due to Earth’s gravity tugging on it (hence the image above), but this may make the odds go up for a 2036 impact, even though they seem slim at the moment. Only time will tell, as I’d be glad to know that mankind hasn’t blown the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/interplanetary-travel-secret-journey-to.html">planet</a> up by then – with or without an asteroid impact. If you’d like to read more about this particular subject, you can find articles about such things over at Space.com and Nasa.gov on their “Near Earth Object Program” page. You may also want to research the Palermo Scale values… The Palermo Technical Impact Hazard Scale is used by astronomers to rate the potential hazard of impact of an NEO (near-earth object).</div><div><br /></div><div>Okay, let's change subjects for now and head on into the hypothetical ways we could possibly deflect an asteroid. If the time comes, if we haven’t already destroyed the planet ourselves, when we have a large object heading toward Earth, I have wondered many times if we will have the technology and/or know-how to deflect it. If, if, if, I know… Too many IFs!</div><div>Anyway, the first thought that most likely enters many of our minds is probably: “Let's just blow the thing up like on the 1998 film “Armageddon,” although many astronomers and scientists will probably tell you that this is not the best option and how difficult it would be – especially if it wasn’t detected far enough away from us; it looks great on film, though!</div><div><br /></div><div>Of course, I’d like for people to share their ideas on the many possible ways this daunting task could be performed, but I can’t depend on a comment field for answers to hypothetical situations, etc. I did happen to land on a page that shared several ideas and spoke about how scientists plan to deflect Earth-bound asteroids in the future, although nothing promising and noteworthy has spawned from this, as of yet. It is nice to know that at least the ESA (European Space Agency), NASA, SWF (Secure World Foundation) among many others, are at least thinking about it. The source was from Fox News, on this page: <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/science/armageddon-scientists-plan-to-deflect-earth-bound-asteroids" target="_blank">http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2011/08/16/space-mission-aims-to-blast-asteroid-headed-for-earth/</a></div><div><br /></div><div>Some of the wild ideas involved concerning asteroid deflection were: spreading a big white sheet over it, paint it white to increase the reflectivity (WTF?), use a satellite to dock a motor with a thruster on the asteroid (it would have to be really far away for this to work), use laser technology (sounds cool), a “mass projector” that would slowly chisel away at the surface, a massive <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/will-we-eventually-create-high-speed.html">spacecraft</a> that could slowly pull an asteroid off path, along with other crazy ideas like the use of magnetic tractors and sails to utilize <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/07/wind-turbines-for-your-home-free.html">solar winds</a>, of all things.</div><div><br /></div><div>On second thought, after reading all of that, let's just blast the things. When the time comes, maybe we will be saying stuff like this: “Photon Torpedoes . . . Fire!”</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhbPiu6sIWoBOCJRby7m6IpKlpffuC0bCZBdsYKNMuoIJ374ehqYn2lifBGFOVaKVKMaCB6mRxZESMbktrC5gjfFhD_eNetYGTOjh4g-sSvr-D3klx19pdLuVQ304K20P1JhNGglC_3uudit6ca2rUMT2PZeOllr_AlAF9nC-1rTq-kX1hAfAHR5VIjBg=s300" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="225" data-original-width="300" height="225" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhbPiu6sIWoBOCJRby7m6IpKlpffuC0bCZBdsYKNMuoIJ374ehqYn2lifBGFOVaKVKMaCB6mRxZESMbktrC5gjfFhD_eNetYGTOjh4g-sSvr-D3klx19pdLuVQ304K20P1JhNGglC_3uudit6ca2rUMT2PZeOllr_AlAF9nC-1rTq-kX1hAfAHR5VIjBg" width="300" /></a></div><br /><div>---Update to the post “Hypothetical ways to deflect an Asteroid – Apophis 2029 or 2036?”</div><div><br /></div><div>I recently read an update from NASA on a Yahoo! News page that said: “The Earth is safe from the giant asteroid Apophis when it flies extremely close to our planet in 2029, then returns for seconds in 2036, NASA scientists announced today (Jan. 10, 2013). I decided to re-publish it here. The original post date is: 7-11-2012</i><p></p><p>This post is being wrote for a few reasons. For one, when it comes to the origins of life – whether you are science-based or fueled by a faith-based religion – no matter how you slice it, theorize it, believe in it, etc., at some point, “magic” must have happened. Where did this life-creating “magic” come from? <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2010/11/holier-than-thou-christians-are.html" target="_blank">God?</a> <a href="https://anti-dolt.blogspot.com/2015/02/the-things-et-does-not-tell-you-about.html" target="_blank">Space Monkeys?</a> <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2010/02/creation-myths-ancient-greek.html" target="_blank">The land of something from nothingness?</a> Blah, blah…</p><p>This subject came up a few days ago, when I was told that the “<a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/02/theory-of-evolution-where-is-missing.html">Theory of Evolution</a>” was divided into two parts, and that since I kept bringing up the origin of life and how it doesn’t work with the theory of evolution, that I was talking about the “history” aspect and how there are many theories for that. Ha! Well, I suppose there is an excuse for everything…</p><p>Oh, on a side note: The reason why I bring up origins of life and how it doesn’t work with the theory of evolution, is simply because, in my opinion, they are confusing adaptation and acclimation with creation, which are two totally different things. I don’t need a theory to tell me I can adapt, but you better have a really good one to explain how I was created. Pretty simple, eh? Now, back to the topic at hand…</p><p>In less words, the Primordial Soup Theory often comes into play when all the other scientific theories are backed against the wall, with no more room for weak attempts of explanation, just to say “poof!” Sort of like the big bang theory from a singularity of nothing, says “bang!”</p><p>Anyway, before I get off subject here, the Primordial Soup theory, to me, often sounds more like primitive chili without beans... LOL!</p><p>In fact, I don’t like chili without beans. When I desire such things, I want it complete and packed full of flavor. Hmm, at the end of this short post, I think I will drop down my recipe ingredients for Chili, just to be relevant to my title; ha!</p><p>If you'd rather read about the history of this prebiotic broth and how the idea got concocted, you can always visit: <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primordial_soup" target="_blank">Primordial Soup via the free Encyclopedia</a>. I mean, one could just say that a bolt of lightning struck some random branch of amino acids that was aimlessly floating in a pond of cooled-down lava to create Earth's first forms of life and it would make about as much sense as some of the gobbledygook that I've read lately. However, I'm not going to waste a lot of time explaining this theory of life-spawning primitive soup, as you can read all about it under the title “Abiogenesis” (which is the lovely study of how biological life could miraculously arise from inorganic matter through awesome natural processes) on Wikipedia, here: <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abiogenesis" target="_blank">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abiogenesis</a> </p><p>At any rate, within that particular page, there was a quick summary…</p><p>“Biochemist Robert Shapiro has summarized the “primordial soup” theory of Oparin and Haldane in its “mature form” as follows:</p><p>1. The early Earth had a chemically reducing atmosphere.</p><p>2. This atmosphere, exposed to energy in various forms, produced simple organic compounds (“monomers”).</p><p>3. These compounds accumulated in a “soup,” which may have been concentrated at various locations (shorelines, oceanic vents, etc.).</p><p>4. By further transformation, more complex organic polymers – and ultimately life – developed in the soup.</p><p>While steps 1-3 have been basically observed experimentally, step 4 has been criticized as simplistic – a stage of “then magic happens.”</p><p>See, even the word “magic” occurs on the Wiki page (at the time I'm writing this), just as I have been labelling such theories and notions about the origins of primitive life, for years.</p><p>If anybody has any opinions about this Primordial Soup stuff or if you simply have a favorite chili recipe to share (preferably with beans as opposed to without), feel free to do such, in the comment field below.</p><p>When I prepare my spicy 3 Bean Chili, I use the following ingredients: Tomato juice along with peeled whole tomatoes from a can, 2 lbs. of ground beef (marinated with Worcestershire sauce), 1 chili seasoning packet, a finely chopped small onion, numerous jalapeno slices, Louisiana hot sauce, seasoned salt, black pepper, kidney beans, pinto beans, black beans, and a big, finely chopped green bell pepper; yummy!</p><p>---End of Post "Primordial Soup Theory or Primitive Chili without Beans?"</p><div><br /></div>Obscurely Diversehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00093125094173965474noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8104720100782472242.post-66035496397634391572022-02-03T14:14:00.003-08:002022-02-03T19:17:00.919-08:00Theory of Evolution: Where is the missing link between Homo erectus & Homo sapiens?<p><i>This is an old article that I originally wrote on a community writing site, then later moved it to my own personal website. I have never related the theory of evolution with religions or creationists, etc.</div><div>Actually, the concepts of evolution should have nothing to do with philosophic pondering or <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2010/02/creation-myths-ancient-greek.html" target="_blank">creation theories</a> for that matter, but yet, nowadays it often seems to be lined up in direct opposition with such things.</div><div>It’s a different world out there today, and unlike what Darwin originally wrote, albeit he borrowed most of his theories from others and received way <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/01/theoretical-physics-gets-too-much-credit.html">too much credit</a> for this notion, a lot of people have somehow managed to turn the “theory of evolution” into a religion, it seems…</div><div><br /></div><div>In my opinion, among many others including certain biologists with a sense of awareness beyond authoritative textbooks, Evolution is not a real science. Does this sound familiar? If you argue with a creationist and their Bible, they may tell you that you “don’t understand” the word of <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2010/11/what-about-this-god-thing.html" target="_blank">God</a> or the translations.</div><div><br /></div><div>What is going on here?</div><div><br /></div><div>Are the core components of spiritual belief and insight about half as right as science and evolutionists?</div><div>Whatever happened to intuition?</div><div>Definition of intuition: 1) quick and ready insight; 2) the power or faculty of knowing things without conscious reasoning</div><div>Can’t people put two and two together? Oh, that’s right, we have mathematicians out there that say 2 + 2 doesn’t equal 4! In view of the clear-cut and unmistakable morphological gap between apes and humans, I believe that human fossil study provides strong circumstantial evidence in favor of the theistic view of origins.”</div><div>Read more, if you are really serious about this subject, here: <a href="https://answersingenesis.org/human-evolution/ape-man/homo-erectus-to-modern-man-evolution-or-human-variability/" target="_blank">Homo erectus Modern Man: Evolution or Human Variability?</a></div><div><br /></div><div>Although this page is not primarily concerned with the origins of Homo sapiens, just the missing link between the ape-like Homo erectus and the Homo sapiens that lead one to believe that “humans” seem to have come out of nowhere and just sort of magically appeared as if we were created by another race of beings or by some divinity of some sort, the Theory of Evolution is yet to explain, as noted above, the origins of Homo sapiens (modern man) and my original, seemingly simple question that is always avoided by evolutionists without proof or a sound theory.</div><div><br /></div><div>It comes down to this, when it concerns our origin (and this is not a freakin’ “non sequitur”):</div><div><br /></div><div>Did the Evolutionists’ single-cell amoeba do it?</div><div>Did the creationists’ God or Gods do it?</div><div>Did the aliens from another world do it?</div><div>Or did we all do it via a universal consciousness?</div><div><br /></div><div>Until the day comes when Evolutionists can gracefully explain the missing link between Homo erectus and the Homo sapiens of today, they will never really hold any ground when it comes to real science, fact or actuality.</div><div>I know, I know, it would be nice & easy to say that we are all from the same species, race, etc., and that the extinct Homo erectus, Neanderthals, etc., are all close relatives to the same type of beings that roam the earth today and that we all evolved from a single-cell amoeba and got extra motivated from some mad race of trilobites (just threw that in there for fun), but that simply isn’t true.</div><div>I hate to say it, but the ancient alien theorists make better sense than the evolutionists when it concerns “human” evolution, and the religionists lie somewhere in between the two. Ah, the joys of life’s mysteries…</div><div><br /></div><div>Humorous Quote: “Darwin is liked by evolutionists because he liberated science from the straitjacket of observation and opened the door to storytellers. I can tell you really have a brain in that skull, excellent writing. Nice to see a good common sense. I was raised Christian but kind of set aside everything I was taught when I was 18 to find my own truth, so I looked at evolution and alien theories, other religions and Christianity. Evolution kept looking more like a joke every time I researched it, no answers only odd opinions on unreasonable claims based on no solid evidence. And it seemed to be pushed so hard that I started to feel like there was some agenda to it and they absolutely hated the idea that any religions bring to the table. Christianity and Islam made more sense. And I actually started to notice that all the bible stories I was told wasn’t exactly accurate, if you study Islam and the bible especially you start seeing very sci fi like stories, and you find a lot of them were removed by churches over the centuries because they were too “weird” maybe. But the more you keep looking the more you start to get freaked out about how much sense they really make, especially the bible and Hebrew texts. And then you get hit with something amazing, almost everything you can possibly think or have ever wondered about all falls into place and makes perfect sense, and then you start feeling so separate from everything else, you start seeing that 95 percent of people including Christians have absolutely no idea about what is going on and what has happened over the last millions of years. And that's where I am now. I continue to look deeper into ancient knowledge and my eyes continue to open wider every day. And it brings much peace as understanding always has for mankind.</div><div><br /></div><div>Comment #2:</div><div>Thanks, David, for providing such an excellent comment. Enjoy your journey towards higher awareness; cheers!</div><div><br /></div><div>Comment #3:</div><div>headlyvonnoggin says:</div><div>July 24, 2012 at 3:40 pm</div><div>The word ‘evolution’ in and of itself is a major source of confusion in these discussions in my opinion. I agree with evolution, depending on the definition we’re speaking of. For example, I agree that animal life on this planet did change and adapt throughout the ages, which the fossil record and DNA evidence both supports. However, if we’re talking about the idea of random mutations plus lots and lots of time resulted in life as we know it today, I’m not so on-board. Like the idea of legs evolving because this one fish with a bump mutation was more successful at moving around than this other, and therefore more likely to pass on this mutated bump, then future generations continued to do the same with other bump mutations that formed on the first bump being more advantageous and so on and so forth, then you have legs!!! Ludicrous.</div><div><br /></div><div>The element that always seems to get left out is the driving force behind life in general. The will to live and procreate is what propels evolution. Those creatures had to be motivated to get food to feed their bodies to continue to live. They had to be motivated to procreate. Something had to drive them. Yet this drive is never mentioned. It’s just summed up as nothing more than instinct. That’s it.</div><div><br /></div><div>As for human evolution, I don’t have an issue with the tie between humans and primates. To me, the near identical match DNA wise is a pretty clear indicator that we share similar roots. It’s just the mechanics of the theory of evolution that I don’t see adding up to the end result.</div><div><br /></div><div>Personally, I see the creation of humans in Genesis 1 and Adam in Genesis 2 as two separate events. The creation of humans in Genesis 1 matches up incredibly well with the evolution of early humans. Each command given to humans by God can be seen, and become more prevalent, in each subsequent species of the homo genus; be fruitful, multiply, fill/subdue the earth, establish dominion in the animal kingdom.</div><div><br /></div><div>Fully populating the earth and establishing ourselves as the only surviving species of the homo genus and the dominant species on the planet is what makes humans unique compared to the rest of the animal kingdom, outside of our minds of course. We’re the only species to do it. And these were direct commands. Homo habilis traveled long distances. So did homo heidelbergensis, neanderthalensis, and sapien. The latter species also became formidable foes for every other species of animal, including megafauna, who eventually got pushed out of existence.</div><div><br /></div><div>It’s not the progression itself that I have an issue with as far as evolution goes. It’s what drove the process. It’s what pushed these creatures to the end result we know now. The theory of evolution puts way too much into the idea of how much can happen totally randomly as long as it spans millions and millions of years. This, in my mind, simply doesn’t fly.</div><div><br /></div><div>Comment #4:</div><div>How about Homo floresiensis? LOL!</div><div>I have no problem with adaptation and acclimation, but I do when people confuse such things with creation. Perhaps you need to read my post about the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/02/primordial-soup-theory-or-primitive.html">Primordial Soup Theory</a>.</div><div><br /></div><div>No, I’m sorry, but I do not believe that my cousins are chimps and bonobos with my distant homies being gorillas and orangutans. I have a feeling, that something happened along the way. By the way, if you follow evolutionary beliefs of origin, we all used to be fish that got all monkey one day and eventually turned into the humans of today; what a load of steaming dung!</div><div><br /></div><div>Comment #5:</div><div>Speaking of the main concept behind this article “Theory of Evolution: Where is the missing link between Homo erectus & Homo sapiens?,” it would probably be better if I wrote a separate piece about how the concept of speciation doesn’t make sense. When it comes to the theory of evolution, “speciation” and the “primordial soup theory” is what makes me go against it, due to the level of asininity involved. I mean, some of these people are nuts! Humans used to be fish? WTF? That Thanksgiving turkey you eat used to be a Raptor (informal name for a certain species in the Velociraptor genus of dinosaurs), etc. Get real!</div><div><br /></div><div>Here are a few comments I have left on other posts, with the last 2 getting deleted:</div><div><br /></div><div>1) Earth provides a life-giving substrate that has obviously been “played” with, numerous amounts of times throughout the timetables of history; albeit I’ll never believe in the silly speciation concepts of Evolution nor the magic from a Primordial Soup theory or the Dogma dung from organized religions, howbeit there is definitely a divine unity amid the madness, nonetheless…</div><div><br /></div><div>2) The Cambrian Explosion is just a big mouthful that chokes on the theory of speciation, which leads to a Primordial Soup Theory of magic that many feel forced to believe… Have fun delving into Earth’s mysterious substrate… Have you ever heard of an eraser and the fact that, sometimes, things start over… Ya know, like from the drawing board… Ha!</div><div><br /></div><div>3) Of course, everything adapts, evolves and acclimates to their surroundings over time, but the whole “speciation” concept is another matter. Regardless, birds will be birds, cats will be cats, etc. The Cambrian explosion sort of kills the speciation theory, to say the least. However, I have wrote on other websites about evolution, but never really focused on speciation, but I may do so in the future.</div><div><br /></div><div>As many of us realize, this will ultimately lead us to a primordial soup debate [I’ve wrote about that elsewhere, as well], and then everything goes back to the drawing board for the ones who maintain such notions. I just can’t accept the theory of evolution’s version of creationism [speciation], but I do agree that everything adapts and changes due to its surroundings – within reason, of course.</div><div><br /></div><div>If anybody has any fresh ideas, feel free to add additional comments below...</div><div><br /></div><div>Related Post: <b><a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/did-bees-evolve-with-flowers.html">Did the Bees evolve with the Flowers?</a></b></div><div><br /></div><div>---End of Post "Theory of Evolution: Where is the missing link between Homo erectus & Homo sapiens?"</div>Obscurely Diversehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00093125094173965474noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8104720100782472242.post-41097140464491015062022-02-01T18:47:00.000-08:002022-02-01T18:47:01.091-08:004th & 5th Dimensions, Time Travel & Parallel Universes<p><i>This is an old blog post from a website of mine that I recently deleted. It’s a question that when asked, only seems to perplex the ones with complex thoughts. Even though ‘time’ seems to control every facet of our life, many people don’t give it much thought. Our life starts pouring down like the sand from an unstoppable hourglass; hey, wait a minute; no, slow down. There is nothing we can do about it but roll with this mysterious wave of life.</p><p>On the flip side, there comes the notion of time travel. Travelling into the future or into the past, is either a rebellious theory of changing what already is or a curiosity to find out what will it be. Other than lots of unanswerable queries, it makes for great Sci-Fi flicks. Two excellent examples are H.G. Well’s “The Time Machine” and “Back to the Future” – directed by Robert Zemeckis. As many of us Science Fiction aficionados know, even Star Trek has integrated time warp into a few of their shows/movies. When many people try to picture a time travelling contraption, they often vision a nifty gadget with spinning saucers, a man-made spaceship, a <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/was-bob-lazar-one-of-greatest-ufo-frauds.html">UFO</a>, a crazy techno-car with all types of sensors, and so on. But I’ve always had trouble considering the concepts of travelling back in time. I could see, if you were cruising in deep space, falling in a galactic wormhole that distorts the time-space continuum and you come out in the future somehow and somewhere, but never the other way around.</p><p>I look at time travelling into the past, as the invisible dimensions of your own mind, whether it is dreaming, mulling/pondering or reminiscing, you can go anywhere you desire – in that sense. Besides, if we had the ability to go back into time, us crafty little humans would have done found a way to screw it up and, most likely, would have caused a universal cataclysm and <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-universe-might-not-make-sense.html">the universe</a> would probably collapse on its own self and go boom…bang! …Hmm, that sounds familiar, ha!</p><p><b>Invisible Universe – The 5th Dimension?</b></p><p>Now, where do all these thoughts and memories go? Where does the soul go? Matter can never truly be destroyed, right? Is there a 5th dimension? If there is, we know it must be invisible for now. Is that where all this “dark matter” is at, that scientists often speak about? The universe consists mostly of this mysterious dark matter. Does it hold us intact or is it something else?</p><p>I know, I’m being rather inquisitive, but many of us are when it comes to the 5th dimension. In fact, I think a lot of people think about it and don’t even know it. Once you classify this as an invisible realm, it is only left to the imagination…until proof appears. Even religions think about the 5th dimension, they just label it in different ways; some even speak about an inferno, yikes!</p><p>I thought about some of these dimensional dilemmas as a child, when studying over the possibility of UFOs and Extraterrestrials. I later came to the conclusion that they could very well occupy the same space but be in another dimension. Not a different time…such as 4th dimensional concepts, but in a parallel universe. If so, it might explain the ‘here one second’ and ‘gone the next’ phenomenon that is often described in UFO reportings. It could be better described as a “blink” into another unknown. This could be a different form of travel; as opposed to time travel, it would be dimensional travel. On the other hand, I'm sure that a lot of the visitations from otherworldly life is actually from this current dimension, but just saying that it is not limited to such mundane planes of existence. </p><p>As far as extraterrestrial speculation, I think it is man’s own arrogance and ignorance to think we are alone in the cosmos. Which, there is nothing wrong with thinking the entire universe is yours, but it just shows your level of awareness. Hey, we all start out clueless and can only use deductive reasoning to hopefully become more aware.</p><p>On a positive note, just remember, we are all atomically connected to the universe.</p><p>When it comes to potential 4th & 5th Dimensions, Time Travel, Invisible & Parallel Universes, Dark Matter, Big Bang Theories or Extraterrestrial life:</p><p>Whether it is fact, fiction, fantasy, or science…one cannot help but wonder……</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEj1LktXsF3kGLYcPXxg5m0faurvgYNJ_xXcS_hZhqk2q0q98_0nRL7HEW2ThNea_RpyryhNzaDg5ckCA7o4N8jbaJ8DzjcoeOsFNchriXFTkV27lafuZoOMidAhZh-DGdHCYCI3ErqpSC6LYP5cHejxHT5s3aM6kXatFd_XF4nmgBs7rzJO4YrgPj3Nzg=s599" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="599" data-original-width="415" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEj1LktXsF3kGLYcPXxg5m0faurvgYNJ_xXcS_hZhqk2q0q98_0nRL7HEW2ThNea_RpyryhNzaDg5ckCA7o4N8jbaJ8DzjcoeOsFNchriXFTkV27lafuZoOMidAhZh-DGdHCYCI3ErqpSC6LYP5cHejxHT5s3aM6kXatFd_XF4nmgBs7rzJO4YrgPj3Nzg=s320" width="222" /></a></div>Image Credit: This file is in the public domain because it was solely created by NASA and their copyright policy states that "NASA material is not protected by copyright unless noted."<br /><p><i>The following text, located below, is from the original 'comment field' this post had on the website that I recently deleted.</i></p><p>Comment#1:</p><p>coldarc says:</p><p>March 18, 2011 at 6:46 pm</p><p>There is a dark dimension all around us. This amazing feat of mind-over-matter and/or the ability to move objects with mere thought, perhaps may be more properly known as (PK) “psychokinesis,” although I usually hear it called (TK) “telekinesis.” Personally, I don’t care what you call it; I just want some real, raw proof that it actually exists without all the inconclusive evidence, failed test results, magic tricks, <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/weird-mental-problems.html">mental delusions</a> and any other grey area that covers the land of utter hooey.</div><div><br /></div><div>Don’t get me wrong, I used to be more into this type of stuff and my curious mind would rarely rule out something as impossible unless I knew for sure, but as the years pass by, it seems that more and more people are obsessed with miraculous magic, mythical gods, fictitious fantasies full of fairy tales, and so on. I suppose people are getting bored with actuality and want to create a newfangled, altered reality that simply isn’t even there to begin with. This brings us to one of the many subjects that fit within the walls of “real or not real” and/or “exist or nonexistent,” and that being Telekinesis – a.k.a. Psychokinesis.</div><div><br /></div><div>Okay, I’m not going to drag this subject out further than it should, so I’ll be rather quick; if you’d like to add more to this particular blog post when I’m done, there’s always a comment field that you can blast your opinions into.</div><div><br /></div><div>Now, I’ve read a fair amount about psychokinesis over the years, but never really took it that serious. I always figured that it would be a big stretch for the mind to be able to noticeably move objects using <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/hominid-brain-sizes.html">brain power</a> alone, and that if it was ever able to be achieved, it would take years of practice to be able to barely move a tiny object a fraction of an inch. What makes the possibility of telekinesis the most interesting to me, is not the actual moving of objects with your mind, but all the scientific laws that it would destroy in the process. I’m still undecided – when it comes to whether or not it exists. Personally, I’ve never really messed with it that much because I figured that, even if I did succeed in the <a href="https://anti-dolt.blogspot.com/2010/02/why-does-some-people-always-refer-to.html" target="_blank">manifestation</a> of my TK or PK abilities, my life would not change or be impacted much if I could make a tiny object move a fraction of an inch by concentrating for extended periods of time. …Talk about a waste of time!</div><div><br /></div><div>At any rate, when speaking about measurement and observation, <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/will-parapsychology-eventually-become.html">parapsychology researchers</a> describe two basic types of <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-ghost-meter-emf-sensor.html">measurable</a> and observable psychokinetic and telekinetic effects in experimental laboratory research and in case reports occurring outside of the laboratory. Micro-PK (also micro-TK) is a very small effect, such as the manipulation of molecules, atoms, subatomic particles, etc., that can only be observed with scientific equipment. The words are abbreviations for micro-psychokinesis and micro-telekinesis. Macro-PK (also macro-TK) is a large-scale effect that can be seen with the unaided eye. The adjective phrases “microscopic-scale,” “macroscopic- scale,” “small-scale,” and “large-scale” may also be used; for example, “a small-scale PK effect.”</div><div><br /></div><div>So, as you can see, some folks are so desperate to prove that telekinesis / psychokinesis really does exist, that they are willing to test down to the microscopic particles, such as atoms and whatnot… Ha-ha! Even the macroscopic scale of measurement during some of these TK tests, involves very tiny objects.</div><div><br /></div><div>In closing: The sad reality is that regardless of all the claims thus far, there hasn’t been anyone who has proven to the scientific community without a shadow of doubt, that psychokinesis exists without magic tricks or trickery, bogus tests results, scams, con-artist acts, flimflams, and so on… I can tell you one thing, if a person can actually look at an object and fling it across the room just by thinking about it, with the way the world’s communication and media is today, they will be on the news and a global star within hours. Of course, they will also most likely be subjected to a battery of strange lab tests, so if you really can lift your couch up off the floor just by thinking about it, you might want to keep quiet about it unless you like a bunch of people wearing white coats, shoving probes up your ass… Ha-ha-ha!</div><div><br /></div><div>Maybe Telekinesis should just be for entertainment on the Television and Psychokinesis should just be a sport for the Psychopaths? Does TK and PK really exist? If so, is it on a large enough scale to really count? What’s the largest object you have moved with your mind? You tell me…</div><div><br /></div><div>---End of Post "Does Telekinesis or Psychokinesis really exist?"</div>Obscurely Diversehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00093125094173965474noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8104720100782472242.post-70880172765349401472022-01-23T18:56:00.002-08:002022-01-24T19:09:16.592-08:00Were we born with Altruism and a Conscience?<p><i>This is an old blog post that I relocated here from another website of mine that I recently deleted. The original date of the post is lost, but it was somewhere around the year 2012, for reference.</i></p><p>I’ve seen a lot of debates online lately within the comment fields and random forums, and I’m not talking about the typical religion & politics arguments, either. Actually, I usually try to steer clear from religious subjects and politics, unless I’m just in the mood to stir up some crap and argue. Ha!</p><p>Anyway, I’m seeing a lot more queries about evolution, <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/quantum-hypnotic-regression-therapy.html">consciousness</a>, conscience, altruism, <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/anthropic-principle-or-mere-tautology.html">anthropic principles</a>, and so on. Although those particular subjects are seemingly more interesting than your basic science versus religion debates, they often start getting to the point where it really doesn’t make a damn difference either way.</p><p>At least these people are using their <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/hominid-brain-sizes.html">brains</a> for thinking and whatnot, but sometimes it seems like it would be more productive to focus on your own problems and mundane life, as opposed to being online exchanging thoughts with a bunch of people who are, for the most part, unqualified idiots that think they have unraveled the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-universe-might-not-make-sense.html">properties of the universe</a> simply because they had a little too much drugs, alcohol, or way too much free time on their hands. LOL!</p><p>At any less than ordinary rate, I’ll get back to the main subject at hand:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjLUhQg0CA_q_1WzVdxuAqcRtKEJjBck-rmPFprudFlHQsQBed2JyUrMH74p5_r-zSI0CG9hHtnxos-4zKmwbVLS3XJGVOAwDe_LRkf2MJC2ORzm4TOd4mH9ZSuW98JdOpwPCu8SxBOdWv57h9bRbw9XtmkkV7DkZ2ulejPj78QPzxusEar-YuJCg7isw=s300" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="263" data-original-width="300" height="263" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjLUhQg0CA_q_1WzVdxuAqcRtKEJjBck-rmPFprudFlHQsQBed2JyUrMH74p5_r-zSI0CG9hHtnxos-4zKmwbVLS3XJGVOAwDe_LRkf2MJC2ORzm4TOd4mH9ZSuW98JdOpwPCu8SxBOdWv57h9bRbw9XtmkkV7DkZ2ulejPj78QPzxusEar-YuJCg7isw" width="300" /></a></div><br /><p><b>Were we born with altruism and a conscience?</b></p><p>Hopefully, in due time, I’ll have some gurus show up in my comment field with their opinions, so that anyone who reads this post, can become enlightened with such infinite wisdom, and so on…</p><p>As for my answer: I really don’t know for sure. It seems that humans (along with most other life) are born with a lot of natural instincts and pre-installed cognitive functions, so I’d say that we are born with a conscience along with altruism, but it develops with personal experience and your surroundings, etc. I know at a very, very young age, I sure had a conscience due to my strong feeling of right & wrong. Altruism sounds like a ‘born with’ trait that evolved right along with survival skills…</p><p>Okay, I’d like to think that most of y’all know what ‘conscience’ is: “consciousness of the moral right and wrong of one’s own acts or motives.”</p><p>Altruism is “unselfish interest in the welfare of others.” “Pure Altruism” is when you give something of value (a reward or benefit) with no expectation of any compensation or benefits, either direct or indirect (for example, receiving recognition for giving). Although altruism is considered “unselfish,” it often seems selfish to me, when you analyze it a little further. Feeling good and gaining a higher level of self-importance from giving something to somebody, providing food to someone, helping someone in need, etc., is sort of like getting something back, just not in a material sense. I suppose it depends on how you look at it, and what type of people we are dealing with.</p><p>On a quick change of subject, while searching for online debates featuring the “were we born with altruism and a conscience?” question, I stumbled upon a semi-related topic. Have you ever heard of the Tabula Rasa? Uh, well, I haven’t heard of that one before, not that it was a big loss or anything, just saying… Well, in case you didn’t know what in the hell it was:</p><p>“Tabula rasa is the epistemological (a branch of philosophy concerned with the nature of knowledge) theory that individuals are born without built-in mental content and that their knowledge comes from experience and perception. Generally, proponents of the tabula rasa thesis favor the “nurture” side of the “nature versus nurture” debate, when it comes to aspects of one’s personality, social and emotional behavior, and intelligence. In Western philosophy, traces of the idea that came to be called the tabula rasa appear as early as the writings of Aristotle. However, besides some arguments by the Stoics and Peripatetics, the notion of the mind as a blank slate went largely unnoticed for more than 1,000 years.” You can read more about this subject online, as I’m not taking up much more space for the “blank mental state” theory, as we have enough blank minds out there as it is…</p><p>In closure and in my opinion, when dealing with the question about whether or not we were born with altruism and/or a conscience, I’d say there is more debate about the altruism than the other. With that being said, I’ll provide three related links below – one is a fairly large Wikipedia page about this very subject, and the other links are still somewhat related as they talk about finding self, auras, and God from another dimension, etc.</p><p>* <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altruism" target="_blank">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altruism</a> </p><p>* <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2010/11/what-about-this-god-thing.html">God is from another Dimension...</a></p><p>* <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2010/09/do-you-have-aura.html">Do you have an Aura? Today, I’m going to delve into this topic and just see what all this “jumping” is about, with or without the <a href="https://anti-dolt.blogspot.com/2015/02/quantum-joke-2-people-in-wrong.html" target="_blank">quantum babble</a>. With what little I have gathered in the past, I’d say that a person can achieve, whatever this expensive course supposed to do, similar goals with deep meditation and creative imagination, but we’ll see…</div><div><br /></div><div>[Researching… Watching Videos… Sorting through crap…]</div><div><br /></div><div>Okay, I’m back. Wow! …Such marketing hype out there!</div><div><br /></div><div>A quick quote from the official Quantum Jumping website: “Quantum Jumping is a meditation and visualization technique created by 84-year-old Burt Goldman, a leader in the human consciousness movement. Quantum Jumping is a powerful way to tap into the expanded zone of awareness where ideas and inspiration flow freely.”</div><div><br /></div><div>To me, these people seem to <a href="https://mundane-blog.blogspot.com/2011/11/what-is-up-with-crazy-pentecostal.html" target="_blank">gain a euphoria similar to those in church</a> while praying, singing, and praising the Lord. Some of these folks also seem to feel a sense of Nirvana like people often find in Buddhism and/or during deep meditation while using creative imagination.</div><div><br /></div><div>To cut to the core of this method, <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/quantum-hypnotic-regression-therapy.html">Quantum</a> Jumping is based on the idea that multiple universes exist. <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2010/11/holier-than-thou-christians-are.html" target="_blank">Hell</a>, most folks think <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-universe-might-not-make-sense.html">this universe doesn't even make sense</a>. This “jumping” technique sounds very similar to astral projection, astral travel or a form of OBE (out-of-body experience), as they (the people that promote & market this concept) claim that you can get in contact with another YOU from another universe. Hmm, I suppose they are proponents of <a href="https://anti-dolt.blogspot.com/2015/02/m-theory-superstring-string-theory-and.html" target="_blank">String Theory</a>, as well? Anyway, on their official website, they will plainly tell you that it doesn’t matter if you take their concepts literally or metaphorically, because their classes work, regardless. (Red Flag! Save your money!) I have no doubt that this stuff works well for many people, but if you can achieve the same goal for free or for very little money, why fall for the hype? On the other hand, if ya got plenty of money and are looking to encounter some cool, creative, boogy-boogy astral travel via a wild, free-roaming imagination, dive on in! Oops, I mean jump on out! LOL!</div><div><br /></div><div>Speaking of classes, they are extremely expensive, by what I gather. Don’t worry, I’ll provide a YouTube video in a moment, that will provide you with an honest review.</div><div>Now, I must say, people have been doing this sort of thing for ages! But before, they didn’t have this “Quantum” label to smack onto it.</div><div><br /></div><div>The whole <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/ndes-are-quantum-process-from-5th.html">quantum</a> this and <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/singularity-vs-quantum-foam.html">quantum</a> that, is sort of trendy right now, if ya haven’t noticed. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve studied a little bit about <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/imaginary-numbers-in-quantum-mechanics.html">quantum mechanics</a> and whatnot, and it’s very interesting, to say the least. It is one aspect of science that does seem to get a little “spooky” or religious sounding for a lot of standard scientists, but no matter if you agree with the foundation of quantum entanglement or whatever, for example, it makes a person think.</div><div>In my opinion, when it comes to quantum entanglement and related theories, viewing the universe and the life within it as a whole, is an excellent way of thinking. Call it a theory of unity if it makes you feel better, but I’ll also provide a video that takes a peek at that, as well.</div><div><br /></div><div>Since this post does most of its talking by way of videos, I don’t have much to add, other than I see an upcoming spiritual-type religion surfacing more and more, in the field of human <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/remote-viewing-with-your-subconscious.html">consciousness</a>. I believe that this particular way of looking at awareness or spiritual growth via the study of consciousness, is more positive for humanity as whole, when compared to a lot of the dogma I see today, but that’s another subject…</div><div><br /></div><div>This video features a seemingly honest review about Quantum Jumping:</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Pd2my_8gL_I" width="320" youtube-src-id="Pd2my_8gL_I"></iframe></div><br /><div>This video features concepts about quantum entanglement and becoming one with the universe:</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ZlmrHMBW36w" width="320" youtube-src-id="ZlmrHMBW36w"></iframe></div><br /><div>What’s your opinion?</div><div>If you took the time to read and/or research about Quantum Jumping concepts along with watching those 2 videos provided above, you should have a pretty good idea of whether or not you think there is anything to it or not. Personally, I think Quantum Jumping, whether it works or not, is overly priced marketing hooey, and that one could find the same results or better, by cheaper (or free) alternatives using deep meditation and creative imagination. That’s just my opinion, of course; what’s yours?</div><div><br /></div><div>---End of Post "Quantum Jumping vs. Deep Meditation & Creative Imagination"</div>Obscurely Diversehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00093125094173965474noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8104720100782472242.post-37826129508250474842022-01-16T15:09:00.003-08:002022-01-23T19:01:42.377-08:00The History of Money - Barter, Trade, Gifts, Coins, Bank Notes...<p>Side Note: This is an old post I wrote on another website at the beginning of the year 2013. I recently deleted that website, so I decided to repost it here. Actually, there will be a lot of reposting of content to multiple blogs of mine over the next few months because that particular website had about 200 pages and nearly 70% of that was worthy of saving. But back to the subjects at hand...</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjmsiM6FBCPxPNz1xn6IGdmUPdYKxIC3c7o4OL3Ie5B7Rj7J2BtY0wQ2RzcNRiGuEi4RzONbO1BCIS5YmoMogLtDK9cM0n8N30H34i7W8mtuiW9iayekhFgZhfNnoPM8hWNjdIgHZ210X7L409Ptps2G6MVcrVFHgsChYeu9080TgA9l6-nnj9iZZWw2g=s200" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="178" data-original-width="200" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjmsiM6FBCPxPNz1xn6IGdmUPdYKxIC3c7o4OL3Ie5B7Rj7J2BtY0wQ2RzcNRiGuEi4RzONbO1BCIS5YmoMogLtDK9cM0n8N30H34i7W8mtuiW9iayekhFgZhfNnoPM8hWNjdIgHZ210X7L409Ptps2G6MVcrVFHgsChYeu9080TgA9l6-nnj9iZZWw2g" width="200" /></a></div><p></p><p>This is such a lovely subject, especially since many folks are always thinking about money. I hear it all the time on the beloved writing site called “HubPages,” as many people are in a constant battle with this whole <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2016/11/grammar-laws-5-english-lessons-for.html">writing online</a> for extra greenbacks thingy or, in some cases, typing poppycock for pennies. Ha!</p><p>Well, after reading a little bit about the history of money, just be glad you are not out there bartering cows, sheep and <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/whole-chickens-are-best.html">chickens</a> for wheat, fruit & vegetables and clothing, or out trying to trade your pretty bracelets and cute seashells or beads for some half-stewed <a href="https://exotic-life-creatures.blogspot.com/2015/03/how-to-freeze-summer-squash-for-frying.html" target="_blank">squash</a>, green tomatoes or a small, dried-out serving of wild boar <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/mystery-meat-pick-your-poison.html">meat</a> that stayed on the fire too long, for example.</p><p>Anyway, when a person reads various <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2016/11/water-vapor-history-of-steam-power.html">history</a> books in conjunction with online references, many of the dates don’t match up. So, when you see a date listed here beside a certain form of money, just feel free to add a +/- sign to the end of it, when contemplating the accuracy.</p><p>Going through the timeline, although I’ll leave out a few similar mediums, I’ll list several types of money used by civilizations along with their estimated dates that they originated – except for the method that was used during our prehistory, of course. Before we begin, one must first understand that “money” is any object of value that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services along with the repayment of debts and so on. …Way before paper money, bank notes and metallic coins ever arrived to the scene, the Homo sapiens have traded items of value in the exchange of gifts, livestock, tokens, etc.</p><p>Okay, let's go back to what most humans refer to as “prehistory.” Prehistoric people used common livestock such as cattle for their main money source, and probably looked at chickens and sheep sort of like we would small change. I mean, let's compare a chicken to 25 cents (a quarter) and a cow to twenty- or 50-dollar bills, for example. This would be classified as “barter,” which is to trade by exchange of goods.</p><p>Since we are going back to ancient times, one can only imagine what all they may have traded. I mean, I wouldn’t stop at just livestock, and one may also say that the phrase “exchange of goods” is at least a semi-ambiguous statement, to say the least.</p><p>Moving right along into roughly 1200 B.C., some of these bi-peds used seashells as money. Starting from the Maldives, the use of cowrie shells as a form of currency spread throughout the Pacific. This practice later reached Africa by the 19th century. This type of money was both used as whole pieces and as small pieces that was often found in the form of beads. Speaking of shells, that reminds me of a short blog post I wrote on a Nature Blog about <a href="https://exotic-life-creatures.blogspot.com/2013/05/razorshells-in-sand.html" target="_blank">Razorshells in the sand</a>. I wonder how much money they would have been worth back then? I mean, at least they looked cool. But anyway...</p><p>Sometime around 1000-500 B.C., the Chinese used typical tools that were cast in metal and punched with holes, which made them easy to string together, as a form of money. Have you ever heard of “knife money?”</p><p>Somewhere around 640 B.C., the state of Lydia supposedly made “the first true coins” consisting of a gold & silver alloy that normally contains an image of a lion’s head. Whether or not Lydian coins were the first, doesn’t matter, but either way, coin currency came about long after barter and trade. Shortly after, Greek coins arose (around 465 B.C.). The Roman coinage system was reformed around 27 B.C.</p><p>I’ve heard several different dates within different dynasties of China on this next one, but we’ll say that around the years 800-820 (A.D.) the earliest bank notes were issued. I have also read that the Jin Dynasty issued the first “true” bank notes during the year 1189.</p><p>Henry II of England really stepped up to the monetary plate in 1158 and created some high-quality coins with a nifty little cross design that was based on a silver penny. Well, well, ain’t we slick…</p><p>Are any of y’all sick of hearing about money yet? No? Uh, okay… I am, so I’ll speed this thing up…</p><p>Moving way on up the timeline, during the 17th century, the use of checks spread rampantly in Europe. Hmm, I wonder what they did to people who “wrote bad checks” back then? Ha!</p><p>Blah, blah, blah… Oh, I’m still typing this blog post about money… Uh… The Bank of England issued its first bank notes in 1694. Woot-woot!</p><p>This next tidbit is something I learned today (shows how much US history I’ve studied in the past), which is that the United States Treasury issued the first dollar bills for national circulation, in the year 1862. You know, those green suckers people used to often call “greenbacks.”</p><p>Going by what I have read lately, Credit Cards first appeared in the United States of America during the year 1949. …It is funny though, as we begin the year 2013 (at the time I’m writing this), the US seems like one giant maxed-out credit card itself… Anyway, Debit Cards started to be used during the 1980s although I didn’t start using mine until about the year 2000, which is when I started trusting their electronic transfers more – since ya know, “everybody is doing it;” ha!</p><p>Oh, I almost forgot one interesting subject about money, which is not about trade/barter, coins, bank notes, paper cash, etc., but it is about gifts.</p><p>Normally I wouldn’t resort to such, but for the explanation of what is known as a “gift economy,” I’ll copy a quick excerpt from Wikipedia, here:</p><p>“In a gift economy, valuable goods and services are regularly given without any explicit agreement for immediate or future rewards. Ideally, simultaneous or recurring giving serves to circulate and redistribute valuables within the community. Some consider the gifts to be a form of reciprocal altruism. Another interpretation is that implicit “I owe you” debt and social status are awarded in return for the gifts. Consider for example, the sharing of food in some hunter-gatherer societies, where food-sharing is a safeguard against the failure of any individual’s daily foraging. This custom may reflect <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2022/01/were-we-born-with-altruism-and.html">altruism</a>, it may be a form of informal insurance, or may bring with it social status or other benefits."</p><p>When I read about a “gift economy,” I can’t help but think more about people working together as opposed to the commonly corrupt monetary systems we often see today. That is why I saved the form of money via gifts for last, as I think it sort of doesn’t belong in the same category as the others, if ya get my drift…</p><p>At any rate, if anybody starts hating their money after reading this post, they can always feel free to send me an expensive gift or a rather large monetary donation, you know, just for your sake, of course… LOL!</p><p>Addition: I originally wrote this on another website and there were a couple of comments in the comment field, so I’ll post them below:</p><p>I started the comment section with: “As societies became more complex, a need arose for a uniform medium of exchange to acquire goods. Money was created to fulfill this role, and it evolved from cattle to precious metals, and finally, to coins and bank notes. Today, money is exchanged more abstractly, through credit cards or electronic transfers.” —Timelines of History</p><p>Yeah, the same concept that allows us to flourish and grow also allows for us to sell out, cheat, and become corrupt. Yep, I’ll take me some more of that “money stuff” any day… LOL!</p><p>Commenter said: “Roman soldiers were paid for work in salarium or salt. This explains origin or word salary and phrase “worth one’s salt.” Many societies used Porto money like cocoa, tobacco etc., and it would be interesting to know why cowrie shells were used as money.”</p><p>I said in reply: “It is commonly believed that Roman soldiers were at certain times paid with salt. (They say the soldiers who did their job well were “worth their salt.”) The word ‘salary’ derives from the Latin word salārium, possibly referring to money given to soldiers so they could buy salt. If you are curious as to why or how cowrie shells were used as money, instead of me explaining this, it might be easier to start here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shell_money</p><p>Thanks for stopping by and good luck with the online revenue; ha!”</p><p>Since that commenter mentioned tobacco also being used like money back then, it reminded me of a blog post I wrote on another blog that was called "<a href="https://mundane-blog.blogspot.com/2011/08/can-additive-free-cigarettes-help-you.html" target="_blank">Can Ultra Lights or Additive-Free Cigarettes help you quit?</a>" </p><p>At any rate, if anybody has any additional comments, feel free to add them below…</p><p>---End of Post "The History of Money - Barter, Trade, Gifts, Coins, Bank Notes..."</p>Obscurely Diversehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00093125094173965474noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8104720100782472242.post-30425661340674533852022-01-15T18:53:00.001-08:002022-01-15T18:53:41.485-08:00History of Electricity - From Magnetism to Nuclear Power...<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgUaOkww6WoG83NFBiFy8YZF5Q2MEYVjl1sLqO6zxOnT8ui4RMt4rEBMsUXPRw76gJst8wrJZTX3nWqUcaXwI-zo_a9BWTShvxoWRJQF1lu92gcVLp43PcSTSkM1aBweus1D-zNzpvROLbnV4BVPQFpYVdpXk8frE2vGYbUkQJcKS4ZMxooN4AGShgFiw=s300" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="300" data-original-width="225" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgUaOkww6WoG83NFBiFy8YZF5Q2MEYVjl1sLqO6zxOnT8ui4RMt4rEBMsUXPRw76gJst8wrJZTX3nWqUcaXwI-zo_a9BWTShvxoWRJQF1lu92gcVLp43PcSTSkM1aBweus1D-zNzpvROLbnV4BVPQFpYVdpXk8frE2vGYbUkQJcKS4ZMxooN4AGShgFiw" width="225" /></a></div><div>After recently writing a blog post about the “<a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2016/12/zpe-limitless-free-energy-embedded-in.html">Quest for Zero Point (Free) Energy</a>,” I thought it was a good time to slap down a quick entry about the history of electricity. This beloved form of power can, of course, come from many sources such as magnets via magnetism, <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2016/11/water-vapor-history-of-steam-power.html">water (hydroelectric power), steam</a>, solar power, wind power and from crude sources like burning coal, gasoline, and other miscellaneous fuels along with the dreaded nuclear power plants that we need less of in this world, and so on.</div><div><br /></div><div>Toward the end of this post, I’ll provide a few additional resource links and a couple books (shopping links) from Amazon that relate to this subject. One of those books is what got me thinking about various subjects that have to do with the history of things, how stuff got started, etc. Anyway, before I begin with the timeline of electricity, I must say that I’m not going to include a thorough step-by-step progression chart of how the Homo sapiens knowledge of <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/do-they-make-bicycle-based-generators.html">electricity</a> evolved over the centuries. I’ll jot down a few historic tidbits and leave you with a few links so you can further your study, if desired.</div><div><br /></div><div>On another subject, this small timeline of events only covers standard, basic history facts. In reality or, at least in my opinion, there have been civilizations that lived here long ago that were far more advanced than the human beings of today and most likely had access to some type of crystal technology along with a special skill to use the Earth as a free source of energy and the ability to tap into the grid of <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2016/12/paradigm-conflicts-with-zero-point.html">Zero Point Energy</a>, etc. Anyway…</div><div><br /></div><div>Way back in 600 B.C., Thales of Miletus stumbled upon the fact that when you rub a piece of Amber against fur, that it would hold what appeared to be a magnetic property for a short time. The friction was actually creating what was later known as “static electricity.” During the year 1600, William Gilbert (an English physician) published his well-known work about magnetism.</div><div><br /></div><div>After the year 1700, the “Electrostatic Generator” came to the scene. Using wool threads and a glass globe, the English inventor Francis Hauksbee developed a contraption that could generate static electricity. Not too many years later, 1745-46, a device was invented to store static electricity, by Ewald Georg and Pieter van Musschenbroe.</div><div><br /></div><div>To prove that lightning was a form of electricity, Benjamin Franklin created a cheap lightning conductor using a kite with a key tied to the string. Dang, talk about being resourceful and ingenious; ha!</div><div><br /></div><div>This next tidbit would sort of rival with ancient ruins and other things that were allegedly found in the past, like the notion that <a href="https://myths-legends-folklore.blogspot.com/2015/01/fact-or-myth-ancient-egyptian.html" target="_blank">batteries existed thousands of years ago</a>, but anyway, the first battery was supposedly created in 1799-1800 by Alessandro Volta and was called “Voltaic Pile.” So now you know where the term ‘volt’ came from, eh?</div><div><br /></div><div>In 1820 electromagnetism was discovered! Hans Christian, a Danish physicist, realizes the relationship between magnets and electricity. This is fairly big because it quickly led to other experiments like the “induction ring” by Michael Faraday, the “electromagnet” by Joseph Henry, along with other people starting to experiment and/or perform experiments with magnetism and electricity, etc.</div><div><br /></div><div>1878-79, Joseph Swan, a British inventor, creates an “incandescent lamp” that was later modified and improved by Thomas Edison, hence the creation of our much-needed light bulbs; yay!</div><div><br /></div><div>This next tidbit was interesting to read, as it spoke about how in 1881, the English town of Godalming, Surrey, demonstrated the world’s first public display of electric lighting as it wired the streets full of electricity. A year later, scientists start to realize what is known as hydroelectric power, which is basically using water to generate electricity, and many water-based power plants and dams are built shortly after.</div><div><br /></div><div>The next couple of years, 1883-84, the famous inventor Nikola Tesla invents a way to transmit electricity over vast distances. Known as the “Tesla Coil,” this invention acts as a catalyst for the progress towards the conveyance of electricity throughout the world. During this same time frame, steam power and steam turbines are developed to generate electricity.</div><div><br /></div><div>During the 1950s, is when Nuclear Power started taking off. Personally, I would like to see less nuclear power and more alternative ways to generate electricity. There are many things I didn’t list here, but there is definitely a “greener” solution. Which is probably why a few decades after the start of nuclear power, you started hearing more about <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/07/wind-turbines-for-your-home-free.html">wind power via wind turbines</a>, etc., and solar power via rechargeable solar panels and cells, etc.</div><div><br /></div><div>At any rate, I wished I would have studied more about magnets, magnetism, electricity, AC/DC current and whatnot, at an early age. I say that because I think that with a little creativity and intuition, a lot of inventions and cheaper ways of living could have spawned from it, just like many folks that have studied these fields have achieved. I’ve heard of a lot of inventions getting suppressed, as well, but we won’t go into that today. I don’t know, but if I couldn’t figure out how to tap into the ether to harness some Zero Point Energy (ha!), then it would still be pretty nifty to build your own generators and create your own electricity by using magnets and electricity and/or magnetism. Plus, the discovery of the relationship between magnets and electricity is what eventually led to the electric motor, for example.</div><div><br /></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgfJXIgllrn0enqTI3mpSnSXA0rmkJlWXRK_3zK4gWkb9zLaQpJW1wRgUOJoMd2kFS6hi7loGEvNq6bbRYI2blLM3Xs6odufYnTA_i3P2a0uj1OA5kyf3wlOZwpIUF9uA2t8gJ6BK7SYZdb8UH24lCcMNo4RYjgS6r64m1LTBrrmWJFe3lIS1WZjgpxpA=s180" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="180" data-original-width="155" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgfJXIgllrn0enqTI3mpSnSXA0rmkJlWXRK_3zK4gWkb9zLaQpJW1wRgUOJoMd2kFS6hi7loGEvNq6bbRYI2blLM3Xs6odufYnTA_i3P2a0uj1OA5kyf3wlOZwpIUF9uA2t8gJ6BK7SYZdb8UH24lCcMNo4RYjgS6r64m1LTBrrmWJFe3lIS1WZjgpxpA" width="155" /></a></div>Well, we just covered a brief timeline about the history of electricity. The explosion of the interest in Martial Arts, started a few decades ago in the U.S. and has slowly tamed back down, but it is still alive.</div><div><br /></div><div>After the great Bruce Lee died, it seemed that a lot of these wannabe successors were coming out of the woodwork – some talented, some were just plain amusing. Many walks of life from young to old were Karate kicking, Kung Fu slapping, while the limbs were just a slinging.</div><div><br /></div><div>Below, I’ll list a few traditional weapons in the diverse field of martial arts – Bruce Lee included. Side note: even if they are not used for self-defense, the routines make for great workouts, and it helps to sharpen your hand-eye coordination.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Nunchaku or Nunchucks</b> – is a personal favorite of mine. Ever since I seen the movie “Enter the Dragon” at age 5, I was destined to own a pair. I started out with foam, later I made my own, now I probably have 10 or 12 professional ones ranging anywhere from tele-chucks, mini-chucks, studded chucks, metal nunchaku, acrylic nunchucks with flashing lights, and of course, the basic one made with wood.</div><div><br /></div><div>The nunchaku normally consists of two sticks of wood or metal, connected with a chain and ball swivels. This swirling device can put on one hell of a display and can be used as an effective weapon in self-defense. Check out the video below, for a demonstration via Bruce!</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Nunchucks via Bruce Lee:</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6W16bz--0no" width="320" youtube-src-id="6W16bz--0no"></iframe></div><br /><div><b>3 Sectional Staff –</b> is one traditional weapon that I haven’t mastered yet, and it isn’t seen as often in martial arts films. I only know a few moves but, once it is mastered, it can be an excellent weapon for defense along with a creative display of whirling wind and swinging fury. It consists of 3 long sticks connected by short chains. It is very interesting to watch; check out this awesome display, below:</div><div><br /></div><div><b>3 Sectional Staff – Demonstration:</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/N2uyHK-kXrA" width="320" youtube-src-id="N2uyHK-kXrA"></iframe></div><br /><div><b>Sai –</b> is an attractive, effective, traditional martial art weapon from Okinawa. Depicted below, is a typical pair of the weaponry known as the Sai:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjnnsztKPOoX3wWL0JqoWhSXhjPPSdzJC5FzgKPl_fMQLEz5sKetSvGu1di82B20Reak4aJTO-vDaEY0agVN2yuIdNO3svdfhMyMXDwWTpndh4Cyz7kIsqsUyYS0E6_4A4r6o6CRt-Vg-vwLxy-2jKuucudUnqdm2Pu4uZSRB-dCPSgffSS-v_utQDwfQ=s2265" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1023" data-original-width="2265" height="145" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjnnsztKPOoX3wWL0JqoWhSXhjPPSdzJC5FzgKPl_fMQLEz5sKetSvGu1di82B20Reak4aJTO-vDaEY0agVN2yuIdNO3svdfhMyMXDwWTpndh4Cyz7kIsqsUyYS0E6_4A4r6o6CRt-Vg-vwLxy-2jKuucudUnqdm2Pu4uZSRB-dCPSgffSS-v_utQDwfQ=s320" width="320" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>This is great for trapping, blocking, blunt end strikes, and so on. It is believed by some, that this used to be an agriculture tool (like a lot of weapons) that later become “weaponized.” It is usually used in pairs. The Sai is versatile and can be wielded in many different ways. It is often twirled around during demonstrations, but in combat it is used for jabbing-type strikes, punches, blocks, and has the ability to ward off and/or trap a sword, etc. I own a large pair, and they are fun to play with, to say the least.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Bo Staff –</b> this single section, long staff is favored by many. I was never that enthused about a bow staff – due to the simplicity of movements. But, regardless, if you become familiar with this long-range weapon, it can do some damage. I must add, some grammar gurus will state that you can only say “staff” or “bo” but never “bo staff.” I say call it what ya want; hell, saying “a long stick” is descriptive enough for me. Ha-ha!</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Bo Staff – Demonstration:</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/AAK5WXAb9-M" width="320" youtube-src-id="AAK5WXAb9-M"></iframe></div><br /><div><b>Kama –</b> this is another farm tool that got modified into weapon form. It is also referred to as the “Okinawan sickle.”</div><div><br /></div><div>It is dangerous, so I recommend buying an unsharpened, practice version for beginners. I have both, the training one and the real razor-sharp sickle. A real professional, razor-sharp Kama is lethal. I haven’t had much experience with it, for I only trained with this weapon for a short time. If you get enough speed going, it makes a nice whipping sound. I’ll provide a video below, that goes over some basic strikes; nothing flashy, just a simple demo:</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Basic Movements of the Okinawan Sickles:</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lj8uwLngUmY" width="320" youtube-src-id="lj8uwLngUmY"></iframe></div><br /><div><b>Eskrima or Escrima Sticks –</b> is basically a short staff cut into 2 pieces. Often referred to as stick fighting. Most people look at this style of weaponary as primitive battle, sort of like having 4 sticks and 2 maniacs going at it like crazed lunatics. But actually, there is a lot of techniques to master, and it takes a good deal of time to perfect. <b>Depicted below, is a pair of Rattan Escrima Sticks:</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgU1twVJRCpfTa9vEIhWNaAUZmnKqw4j6JgYIUZtg9MFY6DzDYFVX7N8dpQKJwynFxlkX7u3Wh_DuS5xMfRJzAfrFV60H0bszYeR1WcwpZDR3HQA6dq141NhKg5oOH4j86Y9QNCfX0d1t6Vr9PpRVYI6bdWfwNJuYk1Md2wNUg6LhFdsMkoe8p02dYbcA=s600" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="600" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgU1twVJRCpfTa9vEIhWNaAUZmnKqw4j6JgYIUZtg9MFY6DzDYFVX7N8dpQKJwynFxlkX7u3Wh_DuS5xMfRJzAfrFV60H0bszYeR1WcwpZDR3HQA6dq141NhKg5oOH4j86Y9QNCfX0d1t6Vr9PpRVYI6bdWfwNJuYk1Md2wNUg6LhFdsMkoe8p02dYbcA=s320" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div><b>Tonfa –</b> is sort of like enhanced, defensive, police nightsticks and are often used in pairs. They have exceptional defense properties along with the offensive tactics of holding/pinning an opponent and/or striking repetitive blows into you opposition. Well, maybe so, but we don’t always have the trunk space of a large family car or the behind-the-seat air space of a van, either.</div><div><br /></div><div>I used to be big into the car audio sound systems for a few years (right after High School), have built many speaker boxes (ported, sealed… even helped build bandpass boxes with Plexiglas windows, and so on), and I only had to resort to an Isobaric configuration one time, during all of that, but many folks may be interested in this extra option.</div><div><br /></div><div>Okay, for one, I must say that the bigger the box does not by any means equal louder bass. Big, sealed boxes commonly hit at a lower frequency and have better quality overall, but as for finding your highest dB (decibel) potential, it's about finding the perfect-sized box for the frequency that you want to peak at. For example, some people may prefer a tighter, more punchy bass that hits harder at a higher frequency – if you mainly listen to hard rock, for example. On the other hand, a person who listens to rap may prefer a much lower frequency of bass, you know, the kind that vibrates your seat even when you can’t even hear it. The human ear can only hear so low of a frequency (same applies to extremely high megahertz), so when you build a box that hits below the frequency of human hearing, it feels weird, to say the least (I’ve witnessed it before).</div><div><br /></div><div>Anyway, they sell books for scientifically building the perfect box for your subwoofers, but that is not the primary subject of this post. Oh, if you are interested in such things, follow the (affiliate) link “<b><a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&tag=establishedca-20&linkCode=ur2&linkId=7f0183dcce51478dc4b9445781288ee2&camp=1789&creative=9325&index=books&keywords=Loudspeaker Design Cookbook" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Loudspeaker Design Cookbook</a></b>,” and grab yourself a copy, today.</div><div><br /></div><div>At any rate, I’m about to quickly go over the Isobaric configuration, its pros and cons, and why or when you should use it…</div><div><br /></div><div>The main reason a normal person would want to use an Isobaric subwoofer configuration, also known as the “push-pull” subwoofer setup, is to cut your required box size literally in half, as you can divide the air space by 2, when using this method! Hey, that’s pretty dang good, if you require a 4.0 cubic foot box in a hatchback, and can get it cut down to a pleasant 2.0 cubic foot, eh?</div><div>The configuration is very simple, it’s just that you have to double your number of subwoofers. In less words, we will turn two Subs into 1.</div><div>As you can tell by the image above, the push-pull effect can only be achieved if one of the subwoofers are wired in reverse. So, hook one sub up as normal, positive to positive, negative to negative, and the other Sub in reverse, such as positive wire to negative post of speaker and vice versa.</div><div><br /></div><div>With two subwoofer cones acting as one, you have just created a “Super Subwoofer,” so to speak. By science, with the way this works, the required air space to basically operate at the same level as one, has been cut in half; presto! Since the opposing speaker that is facing inwards toward the other has been wired with a reversed polarity, you get the push-pull effect as when one pulls back, the other cone pushes forward. This is simple stuff here!</div><div><br /></div><div>Now, let's get to the heart of the matter, as to the pros and cons and what type of situations would call for an Isobaric configuration.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Cons:</b> Well, for one, you must have twice as many subwoofers to perform this and, depending on the brand name, this could cost a fair amount of extra money. Overall, per the amount of energy and/or power your amplifier puts out, Isobaric setups are not as efficient as single Subwoofer units are.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Pros:</b> I suppose one of my favorite aspects of an Isobaric setup is the lowered amount of distortion. Unless you have poor quality speakers and amps, this configuration sounds great and provides a tight, clean bass sound! The main Pro for this type of configuration is, of course, the box size is cut in half, which is great if you are short for room but still want some bump involved in your sound system.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>In closing, here are the times when a person may need to resort to an Isobaric installation process:</b></div><div><br /></div><div>* When you have a very tight space in your vehicle, trunk, etc., and would like to have the sound of 2 subwoofers but only have room for one or have 4 Subs and only have room for 2, and so on.</div><div>* If you have the extra money and have more Subwoofers than brains (just kidding) and would just like to enjoy the enhanced quality and less distortion that Isobaric sound systems have and/or have the time and funds to experiment with different options, etc.</div><div>* If you have several low-quality subwoofers that you don’t want to throw away but would like to find a way to make them sound semi-decent.</div><div>* If you have a big amp with a lot of extra power to spare, and you are looking for a way to “amp it up” without excessive amounts of distortion.</div><div>* If you are just seeking a tighter hitting thump and more accurate bass sounds for your sound system and have the extra Subs and a powerful enough amplifier to work with.</div><div><br /></div><div>So, as you can see, many of y’all can do without this configuration, but there will be times that using this Isobaric Subwoofer Configuration to Save Space and Increase Quality of your Bass, will be the best option.</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiqhLcpON6UgOhqG2q8pQVVkiru-xcrlxS-SAX11RodcdLrdpQy52GQEZ_axlzqesEVmPYbQ5oSYKK0NoEnu0XVyURXRFFuiUiCyYxNeJaovoullUQtLoArnAoK7P_WEIYUoYTWRsEH1R1N4C0HUg1-6V_i4f9KtB3ayxGIwJN-VLphsq6Y7GmZ8-Nfpg=s263" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="263" data-original-width="200" height="263" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiqhLcpON6UgOhqG2q8pQVVkiru-xcrlxS-SAX11RodcdLrdpQy52GQEZ_axlzqesEVmPYbQ5oSYKK0NoEnu0XVyURXRFFuiUiCyYxNeJaovoullUQtLoArnAoK7P_WEIYUoYTWRsEH1R1N4C0HUg1-6V_i4f9KtB3ayxGIwJN-VLphsq6Y7GmZ8-Nfpg" width="200" /></a></div><br /><div>Shopping (Affiliate) Link:</div><div><br /></div><div><b><a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&tag=establishedca-20&linkCode=ur2&linkId=3709f83e50e4309b00e1a70f92283978&camp=1789&creative=9325&index=electronics&keywords=Car Audio Subwoofers" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">‘Click Here’ for a Fine Selection of Car Audio & Subwoofers</a></b></div><div><br /></div><div>—End of Post</div><div><br /></div><div>Related Post: <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/building-speaker-boxes-mdf-vs-particle.html">Building Speaker Boxes: MDF vs. Particle Board</a></div>Obscurely Diversehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00093125094173965474noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8104720100782472242.post-89536346878761537582016-12-22T17:22:00.006-08:002021-12-06T19:28:08.813-08:00Are Fabric Softener Dryer Sheets really necessary?<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I'm sure many of you couldn't dry your clothes without having some chemical-laden, fragrance-filled fabric softener dryer sheets added to the laundry load, but is it really necessary? I mean, do your clothes not smell fresh after you wash 'em? Do your really need to add anymore smelly stuff to your garments? Is static cling really a big deal (if and when it even occurs) that couldn't simply be "shook out" once you remove your clothes from the dryer?<br />
<br />
At any rate, I used to use the things for years. For the longest, I would just buy them while often wondering why in the hell I needed 'em to begin with, but since I've always seen them used since I was a little kid, just figured I'd keep the tradition, I guess; ha!<br />
<br />
Well anyway, one day I ran out of these damn things, didn't go to the store, and dried my clothes without them. The next time I went to the store I was aiming to buy some, but forgot. So now, after drying a few more loads of laundry during this time frame without fabric softener dryer sheets, I really couldn't tell any difference. My clothes still smelt fresh, and I just don't really get the fuss over this "static cling" crap.<br />
<br />
I've heard before that it you want to remove static from your clothes without using dryer sheets, that a crumpled-up piece of aluminum foil will do the job just as well, if not better. I've also heard that wool balls (dryer balls?) also effectively remove static cling, wrinkles, and softens your clothes without all the toxic junk that is commonly found within dryer <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/01/new-throwaway-peel-away-bed-sheets.html" target="">sheets</a>. Another tip, although unrelated, is that your clothes will dry quicker if you throw a dry towel into the mix before you start the drying process.<br />
<br />
Oh, before I go any further, I must add a couple quotes and resource links toward this subject - mainly just to show that I'm not the only one complaining about this overly marketed nonsensical dryer product:<br />
<br />
"Unfortunately, dryer sheets can contain some harmful chemicals - including hidden fragrance chemicals that lots of people are sensitive to - that vent off into the air we breathe and rub off on our clothes and then onto our skin. Dryer sheets aren't even necessary to our laundry; they're just an extra source of exposure to toxic chemicals. Dryer sheets are generally made of a polyester sheet that's been covered in a fabric softener chemical and, usually, fragrance chemicals." Read more, here: <a href="https://www.ecowatch.com/why-you-need-to-ditch-dryer-sheets-1881714654.html" target="_blank">http://www.ecowatch.com/why-you-need-to-ditch-dryer-sheets-1881714654.html</a><br />
<br />
"Dryer sheets actually aren’t all that necessary. They’re also not so green. Most dryer sheets contain icky ingredients that can in fact be toxic for your family. Also, dryer sheets are a huge waste of materials – for what? Static cling that’s hardly a real problem. You’ve got the sheets themselves creating waste not to mention the box packing. Larger cases are often re-wrapped in plastic as well." Read more, here: http://www.alloy.com/well-being/are-dryer-sheets-necessary/ [Link is no longer active]<br />
<br />
A big plus to all of this for me, regardless of the going green and/or environmentally friendly stuff and the toxic chemical avoidance, is that I simply don't have to buy these freakin' things anymore! One less thing draining money out of my pocket sounds good to me... Cheers!<br />

Introduction</h2>
<div class="txtd" id="txtd_23003571">
Recently, I've been reading several articles about the possibility of humans mining asteroids for various types of resources, such as <strong>water & minerals</strong>, in the distant future. However, from now to the time it actually happens, there could be many obstacles ahead of us. It is not just simple stuff like money, either, as the technology has to increase accordingly to the practicality of it all in addition to politics, economics, you name it. Yeah, it is like trying to squeeze a patent in for a <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2016/12/zpe-limitless-free-energy-embedded-in.html" target="">ZPE (free energy)</a> device during the 1900s.<br />
Anyway, what really got me about this subject, is all the other topics it dances around. You know, subjects like "why haven't we been back to the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/07/do-you-believe-in-full-moon-effect.html" rel="" target="">moon</a>?" or "where is all these space stations filled with humans and greenhouses that we heard about 20 years ago?" or "why are we wasting all this time & money on Mars missions before the more local projects?" and on and on. Do the aliens really have a dock station on the back side of the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/microbial-life-on-saturns-moon-titan.html" target="">moon</a> that never faces Earth and is there really a galactic order being installed from the gray aliens that doesn't allow us to contaminate, oops, I mean <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/will-we-eventually-create-high-speed.html" target="">explore deep space via manned spaceships</a>? So many questions...<br />
When I talk about money, I mean simple math like if it hypothetically took 2 billion dollars to bring back 4,000 dollars worth of gold, then I think the return on investment would be very sub-par, to say the least.</div>

Mining Asteroids for Resources: Minerals & Water</h2>
<div class="txtd" id="txtd_25096225">
When it comes to extraction techniques, I've read about the traditional mining by way of robotic drones (surface and shaft mining), magnetic rakes for loose particles, heating methods for volatile materials on dead comets, and I've even read about a theory of self-replicating machines that could be used.<br />
Per Wikipedia: "On April 24, 2012, a plan was announced by billionaire entrepreneurs to <strong>mine asteroids for their resources</strong>. The company is called Planetary Resources and its founders include aerospace entrepreneurs Eric Anderson and Peter Diamandis. The plan has been met with skepticism by some scientists who do not see it as cost-effective, even though platinum and gold are worth nearly $1,600 per ounce. An upcoming NASA mission (OSIRIS-REx) to return just two ounces of material from an asteroid to Earth will cost about $1 billion USD. Planetary Resources admits that, in order to be successful, it will need to develop technologies that bring the cost of space flight down." Gee, ya think so?<br />
There is no need to cover the subject as to why the mining of asteroids for water and minerals is important, that is, of course, assuming the population on <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/could-panspermia-cause-diseases-on.html" target="">Earth</a> continues to thrive. Now, for the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/09/iridescent-clouds-doesnt-mean-end-is.html" target="">doomsday fanatics</a> and the ones that realize how mankind is slowly destroying this <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/why-is-mercury-considered-planet-when.html" target="">planet</a> (unless we act fast), this topic will not be worth the thoughts. However, if the Homo sapiens do find a way to turn this planet back around and start using clean, efficient alternative fuels, learn how to recycle nearly everything we use and find a way that allows for there to be no starving people on the planet - all while combating the wackjobs that war all the time and threaten with nukes along with the power of greed - then just maybe, future space missions could benefit mankind.</div>

Conclusion</h2>
<div class="txtd" id="txtd_25096252">
<strong>One may ask: I understand the whole mining for minerals thing, but why would we mine asteroids for <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2016/11/water-vapor-history-of-steam-power.html" target="">water</a>?</strong> Well, that would be beneficial if we were to have "in-space gas stations,” so to speak, that would take water ice found on asteroids and process it into hydrogen and oxygen for use in rocket fuels. If this is a success, there will be a framework of robotic projects along with human-based missions, to basically turn deep space into prized real estate, more or less. Yeah, what's next? Instead of beach front property to sell, we might have a nice space motel you can rent that is nested 50 miles from an asteroid mining site that is 25 miles from the in-space gas station that sells gravity boosters and frozen doughnuts; ha!<br />
I will say, though, that the concept of <strong>mining resources from deep space</strong> has been around a long while. It makes for great science fiction flicks, and I even remember such things when I used to play galactic strategy games, for example. We could always start with <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/how-did-moon-form.html">our own moon</a> first, and work from there, I suppose...<br />

ZPE is known to cause cognitive disruptions...</h2>
<div class="txtd" id="txtd_25022499">
This blog post is more or less an extension of a previous one I wrote a while back. If you haven't read the first one yet and you're somewhat interested in this type of subject, you may want to go there, first: <b><a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2016/12/zpe-limitless-free-energy-embedded-in.html" target="">ZPE - Limitless (free) energy embedded in the fabric of space?</a></b><br />
<br />
Anyway, there seems to be a lot of conflicts involved with various scientific paradigms when it comes to <b>Zero Point Energy</b>. Many of these fall into certain camps/groups, while others simply reject the notion of ZPE regardless of what any experimental projects claim and/or how exciting the progress may sound, simply because they were taught that the vacuum is an empty void and/or that space doesn't exist. Below, I'll list 7 common, conflicting Paradigm Groups concerning ZPE:<br />
<br />
1) Quantum physics is bunk and quantum events can be explained in an archaic fashion, oops, I mean classically using self-fields.<br />
<br />
2) The theory of Relativity is bogus, and a material-like ether exists.<br />
<br />
3) Quantum physics is legit, but Zero Point Energy is a theoretical artifact and is not even real; ZPE is merely fantasy.<br />
<br />
4) Zero Point Energy is real, but it's simply so minuscule that it could never be used as an effective source of energy.<br />
<br />
5) The ZPE (vacuum energy) physically manifests large energetic fluctuations, but they cannot be tapped because of entropy - which makes coherence unlikely because the fluctuations are random and chaotic.<br />
<br />
6) The Zero Point Energy is a manifestation of chaos in an open nonlinear system. Under certain conditions it can exhibit self-organization and therefore become available as a source.<br />
<br />
7) The ZPE is a 3D (three dimensional) manifestation of electric flux from a physically real, 4th dimension of space. It can be twisted into our 3D space yielding alterations in the space-time metric. It can be tapped as a source, and doing so locally alters gravity, inertia and the pace of time.</div>
</div>

<h2 class="subtitle">
Quick Summary of the Paradigm Camps</h2>
<div class="txtd" id="txtd_25033277">
Groups 1 and 2, as listed above, are generally what I refer to as the "archaic beliefs." They try to model, sculpt and describe all physical phenomena at the classical level. They have a hard time trying to explain how particles born from the same <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/quantum-hypnotic-regression-therapy.html" target="">quantum event</a> remain strongly correlated even when separated, and it is always entertaining to hear their desperate attempts at trying to prove that quantum mechanics is nothing more than religious drivel; ha-ha! They need complex ether models instead, but it's also hard for them to describe those without sounding similar to the ZPE camp #7.<br />
<br />
By what I've read, most of the Western academics fall somewhere around groups 3, 4 and 5. I can understand this, since we, well, are having a hard time understanding the source we need to be tapping into. Knowing something is there is not hardly good enough, if you can't figure out how to harness such energy to begin with. Those are just a few more reasons why more experiments need to be made and suppression needs to stop. I say that because there have supposedly been several "free energy" inventions that have been suppressed albeit this all starts sounding like just another <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/chemtrails-vs-contrails.html" target="">conspiracy theory</a> after a while. LOL! Okay, let's move past the jokes...<br />
<br />
Interestingly enough, the Soviet Union, for example, has a definite interest in #6 and #7, according to the book "Quest for Zero Point Energy," by Moray B. King. Of course, they are not the only ones, but that was used for contrast, since I just mentioned Western academia prior to that. The Soviet Union have also experimentally investigated torsion fields concerning this subject, as well. The point is, many people are taking this subject very seriously and it's actually not a laughing matter for some.<br />
<br />
Many of you should know, back when Hitler was in power, the <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/07/lost-technology-from-german-scientists.html" target="">Germans did all kinds of wild scientific experiments</a> and invented a lot of stuff during that time frame of desperate measures. There is no telling how much lost technology from the German scientists there really was. The point of that statement is that when things are taken seriously and are thoroughly researched and experimented on without constant paradigm conflicts at hand, things will often move much quicker. I'm not saying that we haven't had enough time to figure this out albeit I'm saying that <b>Zero Point Energy</b> is a bit more complicated than <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/do-they-make-bicycle-based-generators.html" target="">harnessing enough electricity</a> for a <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/led-technology-will-eventually-replace.html" target="">light bulb</a> to work; duh!<br />

Proof for Vacuum Energy</h2>
<div class="txtd" id="txtd_25033429">
Since this page can get rather long, in a hurry, I thought I would cover the vacuum-energy subject in a more efficient manner. Basically, if you are still living in a cave somewhere but have access to the Internet while not only believing that space is void, but also that vacuum energy (ZPE) doesn't exist, then you may want to read the excerpt below and then follow the source link provided:<br />
<br />
"At least the existence of vacuum-energy is beyond dispute, so that it should be possible to verify this energy in the laboratory. Two possible ways to this proof have been developed, namely for a metallic rotor in the electrostatic field and for a superconducting rotor in the magnetic field. Since the work presented here is based on the first mentioned method, this one is briefly recapitulated in the following lines." To read more and to determine the quality of the proof, go here:<br />
<br />
http://philica.com/display_article.php?article_id=155 [This link is unfortunately no longer active]<br />
<br />
Now, when concerning a lot of the supposedly suppressed "free energy" inventions, they do seem to often have one thing in common, which is charge clusters. Each cluster is a micron-sized charged plasmoid resembling ball lightning that coheres the ZPE to yield excess energy. However, it would be nice if we could better understand the nature of the charge cluster itself. *sigh* If you ever hear people speak about EV (electrum validum), that is what they are talking about.</div>

Conclusion</h2>
<div class="txtd" id="txtd_25033847">
I was going to get into geometrodynamics, vortex filaments, torsion fields, etc., and the fractoemission hypothesis, but hopefully this post will gather those types of discussions later on, in the comment field below. Honestly, I'm tired of writing about this crap. I'm primarily writing this article to act as a platform for open discussion, NOT arguments, conflicts or drama or controversy, like my original ZPE article slowly started turning into, within its own comment field. Yeah, that means that I probably will have to exclude myself from most future conversations about this particular topic. LOL!<br />
<br />
Personally, this subject (Zero Point Energy) will most likely never affect my life. It is interesting but time consuming. If you'd like to spend a lot of time studying this subject matter and/or if you enjoy the common <b>scientific paradigm wars</b> that it often leads to, then by all means, have fun! I don't know how involved I will be in the comment field, as I'd rather just let y'all go back and forth. I will be approving all comments manually for this post and I will be deleting anything spammy and inane. Insults are fine if they are speckled with humor, creativity, intelligence and substance.<br />
<br />
At any vacuous rate, if you have an opinion on this subject, feel free to share although you may find yourself talking to your, uh, self. For the vast majority, this is not a very engaging subject.<br />
<br />
<b>My primary comment:</b> I think ZPE technology is possible, but it will be a stretch for regular (non-extraterrestrial) Earth people to effectively achieve, at least anytime soon. I hope that if <b>Zero Point Energy</b> is ever attainable for the Homo sapiens to use as an energy source, that it will be used in a productive, beneficial way for mankind. Okay, back to my time machine. Vroom...<br />

Previous Comment Field:<br />
<br />
Commentator #1: <br />
According to my research, the reason for Tesla's disappearance was due to his break through in this particular field however since I enjoy all things Hollow I have read that he wasn't put on ice by The Powers That Be (TPTB) but resides in <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/movies-related-to-hollow-earth-theory.html" target="">Hollow Earth</a> as VIP guest.<br />
What I read was that he did invent a ZPE device and even tried to go public with it, for the benefit of mankind, but that is when TPTB attempted to eliminate him and he was then whisked away by the Hollow Earth boys.<br />
I for one believe that ZPE is not only possible but has been achieved more than once by a few inventors but since it doesn't fit into the greed paradigm it doesn't see the light of day here on the surface of this planet.<br />
After all it is kind of hard to make any money on a light bulb that last forever!<br />
<br />
My Reply:<br />
I thought Tesla lived a long time and died at age 86. However, I always meant to study some of his works. He was another one that was suppressed and way ahead of his time. They have some really cool-looking books over this subject matter like "The Tesla Papers" that covers free energy and wireless transmission of power, anti-gravity, and many other possible inventions from him.<br />
I agree, I think the power of greed and corruption are the primary reasons why stuff like Zero Point Energy and Cold Fusion experiments have such a hard time making progress.<br />
<br />
Commentator #2:<br />
So, according to quantum mechanics and quantum entanglement, some poor sap on some other planet is writing about nth point energy and wondering how to count that high. Sigh. It's all a conspiracy to discredit Tesla, poor fellow.<br />
<br />
My Reply:<br />
I have no idea what you just said or even what you meant by that comment, but Zero Point Energy and the paradigm conflicts therein, are anything but a conspiracy. It involves massive amounts of energetic ignorance, though.<br />
<br />
Commentator #2:<br />
When it comes to ZPE, who DOES know what they are talking about? I would want to buy some stock in that company<br />
<br />
My Reply:<br />
Loads of people, evidently. The existence of vacuum energy is obviously real. I even provided a link on this post to demonstrate such things. Learning how to effectively harness and channel it, is an entirely different subject, and one that won't be listed on the Stock Market for obvious reasons. Yeah, I'd like to see ZPE listed right alongside GE in the business section. LOL!<br />
<br />
Commentator #1:<br />
I suspect when Full Disclosure finally happens (hopefully within our lifetimes) we will be re-introduced (see Tesla) to Zero Point Energy and our energy concerns will become a thing of the past.<br />
I'm a little surprised that you haven't had more inane drivel comments on this page but perhaps no one is willing to show their lack of intellectual prowess.<br />
<br />
My Reply:<br />
Speaking of full disclosure, have you read the book "<a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/interplanetary-travel-secret-journey-to.html" target="">Secret Journey to Planet Serpo</a>" before? It is a documentation about a top-secret U.S. government program, aliens, technology, etc. It <span class="edit_filter_inactive" data-id="179456"><span class="autoedit_original">supposed</span><span class="autoedit_correction"> to</span></span> be based on a true story, although I'm sure it's still laced with misinformation and inaccurate data. However, it sounds like an awesome read, nonetheless.<br />
I brought that book up because it also mentions the vast differences in the chemistry and physics these Earth people are aware of, when compared to the advanced extraterrestrials (something we should already know, but evidently the majority still thinks energy sources are confined to crude methods). Anyway, it would be nice to see Zero Point Energy re-introduced, as you say.<br />
<br />
Commentator #3:<br />
According to NASA, there is enough energy in one cup of coffee to boil away all of Earth's oceans!<br />
<br />
Here's a little quote from that NASA page, which contains information that actually surprised me quite a lot:<br />
<br />
"1996 Eberlein: Theory suggesting that the laboratory observed effect of sonoluminescence is extraction of virtual photons from the electromagnetic zero point fluctuations.<br />
<br />
1994 Alcubierre: Theory for a faster-than-light "warp drive" consistent with general relativity.<br />
<br />
1994 Haisch, Rueda, and Puthoff: Theory suggesting that inertia is a consequential effect of the vacuum electromagnetic zero point fluctuations.<br />
<br />
1992 Podkletnov and Nieminen: Report of superconductor experiments with anomalous results -- evidence of a possible gravity shielding effect.<br />
<br />
1989 Puthoff: Theory extending Sakharov’s 1968 work to suggest that gravity is a consequential effect of the vacuum electromagnetic zero point fluctuations."<br />
<br />
The dates are intriguing to say the least!<br />
<br />
My Reply:<br />
I've heard of that before, somewhere, but didn't have a resource for that statement. Thanks for adding some interesting info into the mix. I think more and more people (the ones with at least half a <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/hominid-brain-sizes.html" target="">hominid brain</a>) are starting to accept the fact that vacuum energy exists. Now, if we could just get an approved extraction device for ZPE, to get the ball rolling again without mad suppression...</div><div class="txtd" id="txtd_25033847"><br /></div>

The concepts, theories and hypothetical notions of ZPE (Zero Point Energy) being a magnificent <b>alternative energy source</b> that could change the world as we know it, has been around for quite some time, regardless of how far-fetched it may seem to the masses.<br />
<br />
Instead of wasting time going over the basic concepts of <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2016/12/paradigm-conflicts-with-zero-point.html" target=""><b>Zero Point Energy</b></a>, I'll skip right along and assume that anybody that comments on this page, has at least some idea of the subject matter. If you are truly lost and behind the times, there are many books and, if you have trouble reading, there are several YouTube videos about <b>ZPE</b> that may be helpful for getting you towards the on-ramp of ZPE fantasy - fact or fiction, you decide. Where was I? Oh, the far-fetched notions...<br />
<br />
Uh, well, today's <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/01/theoretical-physics-gets-too-much-credit.html" target="">physics</a> might allow this once-considered far-fetched notion of tapping into the limitless quantities of energy that are embedded in the fabric of space... While using two theoretical areas of modern physics: the theories of ZPE that model the vacuum of space that contain actual energetic fluctuations of electric field energy along with the theories of system self-organization, this thing may be possible. Well, of course it is possible, as there have already been a few <b>free-running devices/inventions</b> that have been suppressed by ___, to say the least.<br />
<br />
[Occasionally, throughout this post, there will be reference notes, noted within brackets. At the end of this entry, I will list the references used.]<br />
<br />
At any rate, one may ask, how can random fluctuations become coherent? Well, let's not talk about violating the second law of thermodynamics, as this point has been thoroughly discussed in the theories of system self-organization [1, 2]. Prigogine won the 1977 Nobel prize in chemistry for defining the conditions that a system could evolve from randomness toward coherence.<br />
<br />
<b>As for the fabric of space and/or tapping into the endless, limitless energy of the ether</b>, I've seen many debates over this. There are some scientists and various Internet trolls, for example, that preach this empty space nonsense and how space doesn't exist, only objects exist, blah, blah, as it helps their curious, but ignorant, brains sleep better at night. I used to call those beliefs the "dead rock religion," but since I never believed in talking rocks, the object/concept religion was never for me. But yeah, it is so much easier to examine and dismiss everything as if we are merely dealing with circles, squares, triangles or the letters from the alphabet (sort of like Kindergarten), as opposed to admitting that we have so much more to learn about the world and the cosmos that surrounds us, so please excuse the narrow-minded views from the many stagnant scientists and online critics out there...<br />
<br />
Anyway, if space doesn't exist and atoms are composed mostly of empty space, then how can anything exist without space? Well, this indirectly relates to ZPE and all that quantum stuff, like <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/singularity-vs-quantum-foam.html" target="">quantum foam</a>, <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/imaginary-numbers-in-quantum-mechanics.html" target="">quantum mechanics</a> or whatever you want to call it. Side Note: This quantum crap really screws-up a lot of concepts for the non-scientific laymen people. It is like some of these folks can just slap the word 'quantum' in front of anything and presto, we have some marvelous knowledge at hand, so please excuse my disgust for these inane names & titles for such things. A non-related example of such confusion is the concept/term "black hole," as there is no 'hole' about it.<br />
<br />
Okay, well, now we come to the implications of hyperspace and/or the fabric of space/time/ether, whatever... If the existence of a physical hyperspace appears bizarre, there seems to be an even bigger paradigm shift in store for humanity arising from the conclusions of physicists exploring the foundational issues of quantum mechanics [3]. There is both theoretical and experimental recognition of instantaneous connectivity between distant elementary particles that are "quantum entangled" due to a previous interaction [4]. Yes, there's that word again, <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/ndes-are-quantum-process-from-5th.html" target="">quantum</a>. However, I have seen some really interesting <b>videos about quantum entanglement</b>; some people even relate the concept of quantum entanglement to certain aspects of Buddhism, but that's a totally different subject.<br />
<br />
Anyway, many foundational physics are suggesting either a non-local connecting mechanism existing outside of space-time [5] or a possibility of parallel 3-D universes [6]. Then you'll hear many state that time does not actually exist and is merely a partial perception of our limited consciousness slicing a 4th spatial dimension. Going by what I have read, it seems that many of the foundational physicists are heading toward the philosophical model of Ouspensky's "Tertium Organum" [7], a work first published in 1912, which was 20 years prior to the discovery of quantum mechanics. Ouspensky emphasized that 1 extra spatial dimension is all that is required to embed an infinite number of<a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-universe-might-not-make-sense.html" target=""> 3D universes</a>. With that being said, the lonely notion that the fabric of space might be embedded with <b>limitless free energy</b> (ZPE) that could be extremely useful for mankind, is a small paradigm shift when compared to the implications of non-local connections and the illusionary existence of time.<br />
<br />
As many of us are aware, a scientific paradigm shift cannot be <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/02/will-we-eventually-create-high-speed.html" target="">created</a> by mere theoretical discussions. Even with the proper experiments, such things are often ignored and ridiculed, to say the least; take cold fusion experiments, for example. Then, there is the big stopper/blocker effect, which is when a certain technology doesn't work in harmony with political and economical interests, etc., along with other factors, and then that is when advanced, helpful inventions often get suppressed. <br />
<br />
<b>We need a massive replication of such an invention at large; one that is simple, robust, and self-running. If the vacuum of space and/or the fabric of space is truly embedded with a limitless supply of free energy, such an invention will ultimately surface for all of mankind to see...</b><br />
<br /><b>Do you believe that ZPE will be attainable for the human race? If so, will it eventually be used for <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/interplanetary-travel-secret-journey-to.html" target="">interplanetary travel</a>? Or is it just some fantastical idea that is fabricated by lunatics claiming to have <a href="https://random-twaddle.blogspot.com/2015/03/alien-implants-without-microchips.html" target="">alien implants without the microchips</a>? Ha-ha! </b><br />
